Bragg has it out for President Trump.\u00a0 He wanted to get the President so badly that he was willing to push forward a bogus case that is total garbage.\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>The legal argument in Bragg\u2019s case is dumb but the accounting basis for the case is dumber.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bragg released his case to the world on Tuesday and no one could see what the crime was.\u00a0 Bragg then said that he didn\u2019t have to say what the crime was.\u00a0 This answer made caused lawyers across the country a reason to ask whether they heard that right.<\/p>\n<p>REPORTER: \u201cThe indictment does not specifically say what those crimes were\u2026 What laws were broken?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>DA BRAGG: \u201cThe indictment doesn\u2019t specify because the law does not so was.\u00a0 This case does not do that.<\/p>\n<p>The indictments were a series of accounting transactions that TGP discussed previously.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/2023\/04\/total-bs-da-bragg-claims-president-trump-made-accounting-entries-in-error-years-ago-what-lunacy-and-utter-nonsense\/\">TOTAL BS \u2013 DA Bragg Claims President Trump Made Accounting Entries in Error Years Ago \u2013 What Lunacy and Utter Nonsense<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p>Here are the overall points that undercut Bragg\u2019s entire case and they\u2019re all related to the accounting actions Bragg identified in his indictment.<\/p>\n<p>The indictment relates to accounting activities in 2017.<br \/>\nAll took place in 2017 after Trump was President \u2013 he handed his company over to his sons before his Inauguration and they ran the company from that point forward.\u00a0 They were running the company when these actions took place.\u00a0 President Trump had nothing to do with them.<br \/>\nBragg claims that the 2017 activities somehow impacted the 2016 election.\u00a0 How is this possible?<br \/>\nAll the 34 indictments say Trump \u201cmade or caused a false entry\u201d \u2013 no CEO of a billion dollar company ever made an accounting entry in the company\u2019s books.\u00a0 The Accounts Payable Department would have made these entries.<br \/>\nThese are \u201cTrumped up\u201d charges for 11 pymts to allegedly Cohen \u2013 11 invoices, 12 vouchers, 11 checks or wires<br \/>\nInvoices are received from vendors \u2013 not made by anyone in Trump org \u2013 Trump has no control over these.<br \/>\nNo auditors would ever identify or make the claims made by Bragg \u2013 not on a billion-dollar business \u2013 these entries are so small they would likely never be found our addressed by an auditor.<br \/>\nIf these were issues then management would make adjustments but these adjustments would not impact
