{"id":15062,"date":"2023-07-16T16:43:35","date_gmt":"2023-07-16T16:43:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sasquatchnewsonline.com\/?p=15062"},"modified":"2023-07-16T16:43:35","modified_gmt":"2023-07-16T16:43:35","slug":"survey-almost-half-of-millennials-think-misgendering-trans-person-should-be-criminal-offense","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sasquatchnewsonline.com\/?p=15062","title":{"rendered":"Survey: Almost Half of Millennials Think Misgendering Trans Person Should Be Criminal Offense"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Credit: @olilondon<\/p>\n<p>A new survey reveals that almost half of the millennials polled, those aged between 25-34, think that referring to a transgender person by the wrong pronouns should be a criminal offense.<\/p>\n<p>The survey, by\u00a0<a class=\"multivariate\" href=\"https:\/\/redfieldandwiltonstrategies.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Redfield &amp; Wilton Strategies<\/a>\u00a0for Newsweek, polled\u00a01,500 eligible voters in the United States.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/misgendering-should-crime-according-millennials-1813178\">Newsweek reports:<\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to the survey by Redfield &amp; Wilton Strategies, 44 percent of those aged 25-34 think \u201creferring to someone by the wrong gender pronoun (he\/him, she\/her) should be a criminal offense,\u201d versus just 31 percent who disagree.
