In like manner, there seem to be no depths of falsehood to which the women of \u201cThe View\u201d will not descend.<\/p>\n

On Thursday\u2019s episode of the daytime talk show, co-host Whoopi Goldberg cited a tragic episode from country singer Jason Aldean\u2019s past in order to amplify her ill-founded criticism of Aldean\u2019s current hit song, \u201cTry That in a Small Town.\u201d<\/p>\n

On the strength of its pro-America, pro-gun, pro-community and anti-violence lyrics, Aldean\u2019s song has soared to #1<\/a> on iTunes.<\/p>\n

Woke leftists, however, have lost their minds<\/a> over the song and its accompanying video, which features recent footage of urban rioters and criminals.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, prominent conservatives<\/a> have rushed to support Aldean after Country Music Television pulled the song and video from its rotation.<\/p>\n\n

As usual, \u201cThe View\u201d parroted the prevailing woke narrative.<\/p>\n

Nicholas Fondacaro, associate editor at the Media Research Center, a conservative media analysis and watchdog group, posted a short clip from today\u2019s episode on Twitter.<\/p>\n

In the span of 30 seconds, Goldberg made two characteristically outrageous statements<\/a>.<\/p>\n

First, she falsely implied that Aldean\u2019s song has something to do with race.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy are you linking it to black people? That\u2019s the issue,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Then, Goldberg declared that Aldean should know better than to perform such a song because he was on stage at 10:05 p.m. on October 1, 2017, when a mass shooter murdered 60 people in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a man who saw what happens when someone is out of control with their guns,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Goldberg\u2019s first statement cannot withstand even casual scrutiny.<\/p>\n

In the video, the only people easily identifiable by skin color are a pair of young white women.<\/p>\n

Goldberg\u2019s second statement is more insidious.<\/p>\n

According to Goldberg, the mere fact of Aldean\u2019s presence on stage during the worst mass shooting in U.S. history should make him think twice before singing about guns.<\/p>\n

In \u201cTry That in a Small Town,\u201d Aldean sings not about gun violence, but about defying those who would confiscate guns<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Got a gun that my granddad gave me<\/em><\/p>\n

They say one day they\u2019re gonna round up<\/em><\/p>\n

Well, that sh** might fly in the city, good luck<\/em><\/p>\n

Thus, in sly fashion, woke leftists use gun violence and even massacres to erode the public\u2019s resistance to tyranny.<\/p>\n

Goldberg might or might not know what she is saying.<\/p>\n

Either way, she does the bidding of authoritarians.<\/p>\n
