Daniel Hernandez Martinez, 29, an illegal from\u00a0Venezuela that arrived in New York City two months ago, is making himself at home in the Big Apple.<\/p>\n

He arrived on June 27 and allegedly committed his first crime on June 28.<\/p>\n

In his first two months, Martinez has been arrested at least six times on 14 different charges. The charges include randomly attacking at least three strangers and two police officers.<\/p>\n

A NYC officer with more than 20 years on the job told The New York Post,<\/a> \u201cHe\u2019s been wreaking havoc.\u00a0This is not an isolated incident. These migrants are getting arrested quite often here, and we really don\u2019t know who they are. They really don\u2019t have ID. They\u2019re not being vetted properly, but some of them are committing some of the most violent crimes here.\u201d<\/p>\n

The New York Post reported<\/a> on\u00a0Martinez\u2019s alleged crime spree which includes:<\/p>\n

June 28- Petty larceny at a Cosco.
\nJuly 6- Shoplifting at a Duane Reade in Columbus Circle in Manhattan where he pulled a knife on an undercover officer.<\/span>
\nJuly 31- Martinez attacked a man out of the blue with a bike tire in front of the Row Hotel.<\/span>
\nAugust 21- He violently attacked a woman in Midtown grabbing her by the hair and dragging her across the floor before kicking her and smashing her phone.\u00a0<\/span>
\nAugust 24- He threatened a stranger with a weapon and was arrested for menacing.<\/span>
\nAugust 28- He was arrested again for using a large metal pipe to break locks to steal bicycles in Times Square.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, when he requested medical attention after the most recent incident, \u00a0he assaulted a police officer at Beth Israel Hospital who was trying to change his handcuffs.<\/p>\n

In a bail application on Martinez, Assistant District Attorney Jared Hotchkiss wrote that he \u201chas been arrested five times in less than two months for charges of harm nearly every time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although prosecutors requested a $10,000 bail, with a $10,000 bond for the assault case on a police officer charge, the judge set bail at $5,000.<\/p>\n

Martinez is the poster boy for the illegal crisis brought on by Joe Biden\u2019s broken border policies and for the disaster of New York Governor Kathy Hochul\u2019s failed no-bail\u00a0\u00a0\u201cLess is More\u201d act signed into law in 2021.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

The Less is More Act gives more leniency to parolees and\u00a0removes reasons to put parolees back behind bars. \u00a0According the the New York Post<\/a>, \u201cIt removes technical parole violations like being late for an appointment, missing a curfew or finding alcohol or drugs in urine samples. And the act would speed up the timeframe to judicial review for any violations.\u201d<\/p>\n
