Fox News has reported new information about the 100% disabled veteran killed in a pre-dawn FBI raid<\/a> in Henderson, Tennessee.<\/p>\n

A family is desperately seeking answers after FBI agents busted down the door to Bonnie Deschler\u2019s home and killed her son Theodore Deschler in front of her in a pre-dawn raid earlier this month.<\/p>\n

The FBI is refusing to tell Bonnie Deschler why they showed up in armored vehicles at 6 am on August 16, pulled her out of the house, tossed her into the back of a police vehicle, and fatally shot her son.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s none of your business<\/a>!\u201d FBI agents told her after they blew up her house and killed her son.<\/p>\n

According to WBBJ<\/a>, FBI agents showed up at Bonnie Deschler\u2019s home in Henderson, Tennessee to serve her son Theodore an arrest warrant when things turned deadly.<\/p>\n

A neighbor told WBBJ he woke up at 6 am after he heard a loud bang.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was woken up at about six o\u2019clock this morning. I heard a loud bang. Then I heard a couple more. I heard the loudspeakers, \u2018Come out with your hands up. We\u2019re the FBI. We\u2019re not going anywhere.\u2019 Before I knew it, I was coming out to see what was going on and watched them bust out their windows,\u201d a neighbor told WBBJ.<\/p>\n

Theodore\u2019s family believes he was unarmed when the agents busted down the door and threw flashbangs into the home.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a senseless act. You know Teddy was a 100% disabled veteran. He had problems. He had severe PTSD. He had depression but he was getting help for it but this was senseless. He didn\u2019t have a weapon on him. He was just trying to get out of the house because it was filled with tear gas,\u201d Theodore\u2019s mother Bonnie told WBBJ.<\/p>\n

The house was destroyed by tear gas, flashbangs and bullets. Most of the windows were busted out.<\/p>\n

According to Bonnie Deschler, her son was unarmed and standing in the doorway when he was killed by FBI agents.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou couldn\u2019t see. The height of the door and where Teddy was standing when they shot him and killed him, you couldn\u2019t see if he was armed or not and you know he wasn\u2019t. Because if you look at the door you could see where his hands were full of blood and went down the door. Well if he had a weapon in his hand\u2026,\u201d Bonnie Deschler told WBBJ.<\/p>\n

The FBI-involved shooting is currently under investigation so the family is in the dark about the details of the raid.<\/p>\n

According to Fox News<\/a>, in a previously unreported detail, Theodore Deschler \u201cwas arrested as a suspect following a gas station stabbing in a nearby town, according to the Selmer Police Department.\u201d<\/p>\n

Details of the stabbing, which occurred in May just a few months before the FBI raid are unclear.<\/p>\n

It is also unclear if there are any charges stemming from the stabbing or if the FBI raid was connected to the incident.<\/p>\n

The Deschler family plans on suing the FBI for killing Theodore Deschler.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe FBI is reviewing an agent-involved shooting which occurred today at approximately 6:40 a.m. while FBI SWAT was conducting an arrest operation in Henderson, TN,\u201d said the FBI. \u201cThe subject is deceased. The FBI takes all shooting incidents involving our agents or task force members seriously. In accordance with FBI policy, the shooting incident is under review by the FBI\u2019s Inspection Division. As this is an ongoing matter, we have no further details to provide.\u201d<\/p>\n
