The Democrats, on the other hand, argued that a parent\u2019s affirmation of a child\u2019s gender identity is crucial for the child\u2019s mental and emotional health.<\/p>\n Parents affirm their children. Typically it happens when their gender identity matches their biological gender. All that\u2019s left now is for Governor Gavin Newsom to either sign or veto the bill.<\/p>\n Parents in California should seriously think about leaving now.<\/p>\n A.B. 957 originally\u00a0passed\u00a0<\/a>the California State Assembly back on May 3. As the Daily Signal\u00a0reported<\/a> on Friday, Assembly Member Lori Wilson, D-Suisun City, wrote the bill and introduced it on Feb. 14.<\/p>\n But the State Senator Scott Wiener, a CHILDLESS man who co-authored the legislation,\u00a0amended\u00a0<\/a>it in California\u2019s State Senate on June 6.<\/p>\n State Senator Scott Wiener<\/p>\n This gives corrupt California courts total authority to remove a child from his or her parents\u2019 home if parents object to the radical left\u2019s LGBTQ ideological agenda.<\/p>\n But this is not the most sinister part of the bill, though. Conservative activist Greg Price noted that parents could be charged with child abuse, a criminal penalty, if they so much as object to their child\u2019s preferred pronouns.<\/p>\n A California bill AB957 was just amended to add \u201ca parent\u2019s affirmation of the child\u2019s gender identity\u201d as part of the \u201chealth, safety, and welfare of the child\u201d in the state\u2019s Family Code.<\/p>\n If parents disapprove of their child\u2019s gender transition, and say a teacher or lgbt\u2026 pic.twitter.com\/YyaHLoSHFk<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 Greg Price (@greg_price11) June 9, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n\n So not only can parents lose their children to a kangaroo court, they could go to jail for simply for not going along with their kid\u2019s warped version of basic biology.<\/p>\n The Free Beacon reported <\/a>the legislation \u201cmakes no distinctions regarding the age of a child, how long a child has identified as transgender, or affirmation of social transition versus medical sex-change treatments.\u201d<\/p>\n Wiener, the man who wants to rip your children away from you, has been conducting a war on California families and endangering the broader public for years.<\/p>\n The Free Beacon\u00a0added <\/a>Wiener is simultaneously advancing a separate bill that would require foster parents to promise to \u201caffirm\u201d trans-identifying children. He also introduced a law in 2022 which would make California a so-called haven where out-of-state children undergo gender reassignment surgery without their parents\u2019 permission.<\/p>\n Wiener\u2019s most infamous\u00a0authored<\/a>\u00a0piece of legislation came back in 2017, however.
