Biden) in May 2022. Jim Hoft, the founder of the Gateway Pundit, was subsequently added as a plaintiff in the case.<\/p>\n<p>Fifth Circuit just unanimously affirmed Judge Doughty\u2019s injunction against White House, CDC, FBI and others \u2014 giving Americans and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/FreedomOfSpeech?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#FreedomOfSpeech<\/a> a major win against censorship, totalitarianism, and Biden. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/FirstAmendment?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#FirstAmendment<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 AG Jeff Landry (@AGJeffLandry) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AGJeffLandry\/status\/1700294017404010575?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 8, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p>The Washington Examiner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/technology\/appeals-court-upholds-missouri-v-biden-injunction\">reports<\/a>, \u201cThe district judge had placed a preliminary injunction in July prohibiting the defendants, including President Joe Biden, United States Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, and former chief medical adviser Anthony Fauci, from contacting social media companies over content it believes to be misinformation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Fifth Circuit has upheld the district court\u2019s order in our free speech case, Missouri v. Biden was originally filed by Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO) when he was attorney general of Missouri.
