One of the upsides of the writer strike was that obnoxious, left wing late night hosts were off the air for months, not that anyone missed them.<\/p>\n

Now that the strike is over, they are planning their return to the airwaves.<\/p>\n

Will anyone notice?<\/p>\n

NBC News<\/a> reports:<\/p>\n

Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel announce late-night returns after strike ends<\/strong><\/p>\n

Some of your favorite late-night television talk show hosts are returning to the air now that the Hollywood writers strike has come to an end.<\/p>\n

NBC\u2019s \u201cThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon\u201d and \u201cLate Night with Seth Meyers\u201d will return Monday. Also back on the same night will be CBS\u2019 \u201cThe Late Show with Stephen Colbert\u201d and ABC\u2019s \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!\u201d <\/p>\n

The announcements came on the shows\u2019 respective social media accounts Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

Several of the late-night hosts teamed up for a podcast called \u201cStrike Force Five\u201d while their shows were off the air. It was a limited series featuring Fallon, Meyers, Colbert, Kimmel and John Oliver, and profits from the podcast went to their out-of-work show teams.<\/p>\n

In a joint statement from \u201cStrike Force Five\u201d announcing the return to television, they said that \u201cLast Week Tonight with John Oliver\u201d will return to HBO on Sunday.<\/p>\n

If the strike showed anything, it\u2019s that America does not need these shows anymore.<\/p>\n

All of these shows are exactly the same. An hour of bashing Turmp and other Republicans. It was great to get a break from them. Now we can all go back to ignoring them.<\/p>\n
