George Santos (NY) burned it down in an epic rant on X Spaces Friday night and said he expects to be booted from Congress following a report from the House Ethics Committee.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know I\u2019m going to get expelled when this expulsion resolution goes to the floor,\u201d Santos said on Friday on <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/monicaonairtalk\/status\/1728223078985986417?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">X Spaces<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019ve done the math over and over, and it doesn\u2019t look really good.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Santos ripped his fellow lawmakers as lazy drunks too hungover to vote who \u201cscrew\u201d lobbyists. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have colleagues who are more worried about getting drunk every night with the next lobbyist that they\u2019re gonna screw and pretend like none of us know what\u2019s going on, and sell off the American people, not show up to vote because they\u2019re too hungover or whatever the reason is, or not show up to vote at all and just give their card out like f\u2013king candy for someone else to vote for them,\u201d Santos said.<\/p>\n<p>Santos continued, \u201cI don\u2019t care. He blatantly stole from his campaign. He deceived donors into providing what they thought were contributions to his campaign but were in fact payments for his personal benefit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Santos told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.semafor.com\/article\/11\/16\/2023\/george-santos-says-he-wont-seek-reelection-after-ethics-probe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Semafor<\/a> he wouldn\u2019t seek reelection.<\/p>\n<p>The House earlier this month <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/2023\/11\/developing-new-york-rinos-plan-vote-expel-george\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">voted<\/a> overwhelmingly to reject a resolution to expel George Santos so the House Ethics Committee released a scathing report on the lawmaker in an effort to get him expelled.<\/p>\n<p>Expelling Santos from Congress requires a two-thirds vote of the full House.<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Santos last month was hit with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/2023\/10\/breaking-gop-rep-george-santos-hit-23-count\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">23-count superseding indictment<\/a>, the DOJ announced.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSantos Allegedly Filed Fraudulent Fundraising Reports with the FEC to Obtain Financial Support for His Campaign and Repeatedly Charged the Credit Cards of Campaign Contributors Without Authorization\u201d \u2013 the Joe Biden DOJ said in a press release.<\/p>\n<p>The original resolution to expel Santos was co-sponsored by New York GOP Reps.
