When it comes to leftist extremists, Greta Thunberg keeps getting clearer.<\/p>\n
The 20-year-old Swedish agitator and poster girl for perpetually adolescent progressives hasn\u2019t been shy about grabbing headlines since bursting onto the world scene in her mid-teens<\/a>.<\/p>\n First, she was anti-fossil fuels. Then she was anti-capitalism<\/a>. Now, according to a report coming out of Stockholm, she\u2019s a virulent anti-Semite, too.<\/p>\n In a way it\u2019s fitting that the world\u2019s newest cause of fearmongering is coalescing with the world\u2019s oldest racial hatred<\/a>: Both are are grounded in irrational emotion. Both claim to be operating for the good of humanity.<\/p>\n And both are inherently evil.<\/p>\n According to a social media post published by the Svenska Epoch Times (Swedish Epoch Times), Thunberg was part of a raucous crowd that gathered last week outside the Israeli Embassy in the Swedish capital, chanting \u201ckrossa sionismen\u201d \u2014 \u201ccrush Zionism.\u201d<\/p>\n Climate activist Greta Thunberg chants \u201cKrossa Sionismen\u201d (Crush Zionism) with the crowd at a pro-Palestinian rally in Stockholm on Nov. 23. pic.twitter.com\/ky7qT6R4fA<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 The Epoch Times (@EpochTimes) November 24, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n\n The outlet also reported that Thunbererg attended another rally denouncing Israel in Stockholm last week \u2014 this one on Wednesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n To be fair,\u00a0 there\u2019s only the Svenska Epoch Times report that Thunberg is the woman in the \u201ccrush Zionism\u201d video.<\/p>\n The normally media-magnetic Thunberg apparently wasn\u2019t a headliner at the event \u2014 unlike her usual, hectoring public appearances<\/a>. She also hasn\u2019t been written up for it by her slavishly adoring fans in the press.<\/p>\n And there\u2019s been neither a confirmation nor a denial from the Thunberg camp nor her millions of social media-savvy acolytes. But her recent actions make it not only well within the realm of possibility but downright likely.<\/p>\n Two weeks after the barbarous massacre in southern Israel by Hamas terrorist marauders, with plenty of time to digest the news about the slaughtered civilians, the innocent women and children taken hostage, the women raped, Thunberg decided to add to her political portfolio not by supporting Israel, not even by issuing a carefully worded message deploring the deaths on both sides.<\/p>\n No, young Greta went full bore for the cause of the Palestinian terrorists, even linking it to\u00a0 her own trademark \u201cclimate change\u201d brand by declaring that<\/a> \u201ctoday we strike in solidarity with Palestine and Gaza.\u201d<\/p>\n For good measure, she held a sign stating \u201cStand with Gaza,\u201d to make the point, along with three other young women holding similar signs.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n A post shared by Greta Thunberg (@gretathunberg)<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n So, we know pretty clearly whose side Ms. Thunberg is taking in the war between the civilization of Israel and the barbarism of Hamas: The barbarians\u2019 side, naturally.<\/p>\n We also know pretty well how the charming Greta feels about the state of Israel. At a Nov. 12 climate demonstration that she turned into a pro-Palestinian rally<\/a>, she chanted, \u201cNo climate justice on occupied land.\u201d Since Gaza is not \u201coccupied\u201d by Israel and hasn\u2019t been since 2005, the logical conclusion is that she\u2019s talking about the rest of the land that makes up the Jewish state.<\/p>\n (The fact that the rally included the now-standard anti-Semitic chant<\/a> \u201cfrom the river to the sea, Palestine will be free\u201d bears this out.)<\/p>\n So, let\u2019s posit that the video does in fact show Thunberg joining what amounts to a murderous chant outside the Israeli Embassy in Stockholm.<\/p>\n It\u2019s not at all shocking that the extreme leftism of the climate doomsayers<\/a> would match up seamlessly with the anti-Semitism of the modern left<\/a>.<\/p>\n The most savagely anti-Semitic regime of the 20th century was, of course, Nazi Germany \u2014 a government wrongly considered right-wing when the word \u201csocialism\u201d part of the Nazi Party\u2019s official name<\/a>.<\/p>\n Hitler even made common cause<\/a> with the Islamists of his day.<\/p>\n That\u2019s followed by the Soviet Union \u2014 the communist regime that turned Russia and Eastern Europe behind the Iron Curtain into an open-air prison for its own people \u2014 but especially the Jews<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Soviet Union also supported Palestinian terrorism during the Cold War<\/a> while the United States has been a firm friend of Israel.<\/p>\n The Nazis and the Soviets have deservedly been left in the dustbin of history \u2014 the first by losing a world war, the second by losing a Cold War, but the leftist baton has been passed.<\/p>\n The totalitarianism the Soviets and the Nazis sought to achieve by force is still being pursued, now under the guise of climate alarmism.<\/p>\n Then as now, the totalitarians are leftist. Then, as now, the totalitarians hate Jews.<\/p>\n Greta Thunberg is the leftists\u2019 champion now.
