Maine\u2019s psychotic Democrat Secretary of State Shenna Bellows unilaterally barred<\/a> Trump from the 2024 ballot because she decided the former president is an insurrectionist. <\/p>\n

Bellows issued the order after the Colorado Supreme Court disqualified<\/a> Trump from the 2024 ballot.<\/p>\n

The legal theories are based on Section 3 of the US Constitution\u2019s 14th Amendment which states public officials who have \u201cengaged in insurrection or rebellion against\u201d the US may be disqualified from public office.<\/p>\n

Trump has not been charged with engaging in insurrection or rebellion against the United States.<\/p>\n

Bellows, who isn\u2019t even a lawyer, concluded: \u201cTrump\u2019s primary petition is invalid.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

Bellows appeared on MSNBC where she gleefully explained how she concluded Trump is not qualified to be on the 2024 ballot.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, I was duty-bound to follow Maine law, to ensure the candidates \u2013 all the candidates who appear on the primary ballot are qualified for the office they seek,\u201d Bellows said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI could not, unfortunately\u2014or fortunately\u2014wait for the Supreme Court to make a decision,\u201d Bellows said. \u201cI smile because we were number one for voter turnout per capita in 2022\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

So she unilaterally removed the leading Republican presidential candidate from Maine’s ballot.<\/p>\n

CNN conceded Bellows, who isn\u2019t a lawyer, made her decision to unilaterally bar Trump the ballot based on YouTube clips.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe based her ruling on a lot of documents, but also YouTube clips, news reports, things that would never pass the bar in normal court. She\u2019s not a lawyer, by the way,\u201d CNN senior legal analyst Elie Honig said.<\/p>\n
