{"id":25593,"date":"2024-02-27T16:46:29","date_gmt":"2024-02-27T16:46:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sasquatchnewsonline.com\/?p=25593"},"modified":"2024-02-27T16:46:29","modified_gmt":"2024-02-27T16:46:29","slug":"trump-goes-off-on-harry-says-he-would-not-protect-prince-after-unforgivable-disrespect","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sasquatchnewsonline.com\/?p=25593","title":{"rendered":"Trump Goes Off on Harry, Says He Would Not \u2018Protect\u2019 Prince After \u2018Unforgivable\u2019 Disrespect"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Even as Prince Harry is in the midst of a contentious court case over the visa that allowed him to be admitted to the United States, former President Donald Trump accused the Biden administration of \u201cprotecting Harry\u201d by keeping his immigration application under wraps.<\/p>\n<p>The Heritage Foundation has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/prince-harrys-legal-status-us-may-jeopardy-federal-court-battle-begins-tuesday\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">battling in court<\/a> to make the application public and is fighting to obtain the records on the grounds that the prince\u2019s admitted drug use should have been a factor that could have barred him from the country.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, Trump said he was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/prince-harrys-marketable-quality-removed-royal-familys-website\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">not<\/a> on the prince\u2019s side.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wouldn\u2019t protect him. He betrayed [Queen Elizabeth II]. That\u2019s unforgivable. He would be on his own if it was down to me,\u201d the former president told the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.the-express.com\/news\/royals\/129026\/donald-trump-deport-prince-harry-joe-biden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Daily Express<\/a>\u00a0during the Conservative Political Action Conference in Maryland.<\/p>\n<p>Trump said the royal family was \u201ctoo gracious\u201d to Harry after \u201cwhat he has done.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Heritage Foundation has argued that admissions of drug use are usually something that keeps someone out of the country, while the Department of Homeland Security is pushing back, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/02\/25\/us-news\/trump-says-prince-harry-would-be-on-his-own-if-re-elected\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New York Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In his book \u201cSpare,\u201d Harry said he has used magic mushrooms, cocaine and marijuana.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGiven Harry\u2019s extensive drug use admissions, normally disqualifying for entry into the United States, Americans deserve to know if Prince Harry lied on his application and DHS looked the other way or gave him otherwise preferential treatment,\u201d Nile Gardiner, director of the Heritage Foundation\u2019s Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom, wrote Thursday, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/6800736\/prince-harry-immigration-drug-lawsuit-heritage-foundation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Time<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, DHS and the foundation faced off in court over Heritage\u2019s appeal of the decision not to share Harry\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/prince-harry-defends-drug-habit-started-recreationally\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">immigration records<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWidespread and continuous media coverage has surfaced the question of whether DHS properly admitted the Duke of Sussex in light of the fact that he has publicly admitted to the essential elements of a number of drug offenses,\u201d the foundation said in its lawsuit.<\/p>\n<p>DHS attorney John Bardo said \u201cthe book isn\u2019t sworn testimony or proof\u201d that Harry <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/prince-harry-deported-barred-applying-us-citizenship-think-tank-calls-answers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">took drugs<\/a>, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/royal-family\/2024\/02\/23\/prince-harry-us-visa-application-public-hearing-latest\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Telegraph<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSaying something in a book doesn\u2019t necessarily make it true,\u201d Bardo said.<\/p>\n<p>Gardiner called that a \u201cridiculous argument.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is Prince Harry\u2019s book.
