A pair of vigilantes on Wednesday chased away squatters after a Queens homeowner was arrested<\/a> during a standoff with the occupiers on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Adele Andaloro, the homeowner, was handcuffed and arrested following a standoff with the squatters who illegally occupied her family home in Flushing, Queens.<\/p>\n

According to reports, Andaloro inherited the million-dollar home after her parents\u2019 death. While preparing the property for sale, she was shocked to discover the locks had been changed and strangers were living inside.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not fair that I, as the homeowner, have to be going through this,\u201d Adele Andaloro said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really fearful that these people are going to get away with stealing my home,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

A pair of vigilantes showed up in a pick-up truck (one was wearing a Trump t-shirt) to confront the squatters.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are looking to get this guy out,\u201d one of the vigilantes told the Daily Mail. \u201cI am here to talk to him. I want to see why he is here.\u201d<\/p>\n

Two of the squatters fled. One of the squatters covered her face as she left Andolaro\u2019s home.<\/p>\n

The Daily Mail reported<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Two of the three \u2018squatters\u2019 who were caught red-handed in a Queens woman\u2019s home fled in disgrace today after being confronted by the media.<\/p>\n

The unnamed man and woman covered their faces with hoodies today as they fled the home in Flushing, refusing to answer questions on their way out.<\/p>\n

The house is owned by Adele Andaloro, a mother who inherited the property from her parents.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, Andaloro was put in handcuffs after a tense standoff at the house.<\/p>\n

According to the Daily Mail, one of the \u2018squatters\u2019 said he paid $1,500 to the \u2018landlord\u2019 and has a lease for the basement.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s nothing in my right mind that could lead me to believe there was going to be a problem like this,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re just waiting for the lawyer. That\u2019s pretty much it. Like, I was scammed into living there. You know, I\u2019m looking to leave myself,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

According to one of these \u2018sub-squatters\u2019 he was charged $1500 a month to live in the basement.<\/p>\n
