U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken took to the stage in Kyiv, belting out Neil Young\u2019s \u201cRockin\u2019 in the Free World\u201d at Barman Dictat, an underground cocktail bar and music venue, while Russian troops continue their advance in northeastern Ukraine.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe coming weeks and months will demand a great deal of Ukrainians, who have already sacrificed so much. I\u2019ve come to Ukraine with a message: You are not alone,\u201d Blinken said during a speech at the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, 13 News Now<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n \u201cWe sometimes hear that time is on Putin\u2019s side,\u201d Blinken added. \u201cThat Russia\u2019s bigger population, Putin\u2019s willingness to throw more Russians into the meat grinder of his making, and sink more of Russia\u2019s resources into trying to subjugate Ukraine means that Russia can\u2019t lose.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cIn fact, Russia\u2019s been losing the battle to control Ukraine\u2019s destiny for 20 years. And Putin has it wrong \u2013 time is on Ukraine\u2019s side,\u201d he said. \u201cAs the war goes on, Russia is going back in time.
