As people gathered in Detroit last night for a BLEXIT event,<\/a> at least one \u201cwhite savior\u201d tried to warn a Black couple to \u201cbe careful\u201d with all the \u201cWhite MAGA folks\u201d in town carrying American flags.<\/p>\n

Irony alert\u2026.the couple was headed to that very event.<\/p>\n

Social media influencer @locdinwithzaza_<\/a> shared her experience as she was walking to the event with her husband.<\/span><\/p>\n

locdinwithzaza begins, <\/span>\u201cSo me at Darrell were walking to the BLEXIT event right? We\u2019re walking across the street and this White woman comes up behind us and firstly she asks us, \u2018Oh, is it always crowded down here?\u2019 Cause we are in Detroit\u2026never been to Detroit before.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut the first red flag was her assuming that we\u2019re from here. I\u2019m assuming because, you know, \u00a0we\u2019re \u2018Negroes.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThen, she proceeds to tell us, \u2018Oh, you guys know Trump is here, you better watch out. I\u2019ve seen a lot of White MAGAs walking around with the American flag. You know\u2026you guys\u2026.be careful guys!’\u201d<\/p>\n

locdinwithzaza<\/span>\u00a0then turns to her husband and asks, \u201cHATE CRIME! How\u2019d you feel about the hate crime?\u201d<\/p>\n

He answers with a smile, \u201cI\u2019m offended. \u00a0I feel threatened. I don\u2019t know how I\u2019m gonna go on with my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

locdinwithzaza continues, \u201cLittle does she know we\u2019re on our way to the convention.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
