Heir to the British throne, Prince William warned his brother Prince Harry against rushing into a relationship with Megan Markle, affronting him, in a move that anticipated the falling out inside the Royal Family.<\/p>\n
The warning came as the younger Windsor Harry said that he felt that his late mother Princess Diana helped him find love with Megan.<\/strong><\/p>\n And apparently the greatest William concern about Megan was not that her partly African ethnicity, but rather that she was \u2018an American actress\u2019.<\/p>\n Less than a hundred years ago, in December 1936, a constitutional crisis hit the British Empire after King Edward VIII\u00a0proposed to marry\u00a0Wallis Simpson \u2013 an American socialite who was divorced from her first husband and was in the process of divorcing her second.<\/p>\n So the British Royals do not hold American wives as good news.<\/strong><\/p>\n At this point, a famed royal expert thinks Prince William had perfect instinct with his concerns.<\/p>\n In an interview on\u00a0The Sun\u2019s Royal Exclusive show, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond said that Harry and Meghan moved too fast in their romance, unlike William and Kate Middleton.<\/p>\n New York Post<\/a> reported:<\/p>\n \u201c\u2019Kate was given ten years to peer into the goldfish bowl of royal life\u2019, said Bond. \u2018I think it was brilliant she saw all the restrictions and glare of publicity it brings. Anything might happen\u2019, William allegedly told Harry.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Harry also claimed in his book that he told William he believed their late mother, Princess Diana, helped him \u2018find\u2019 Meghan.
