{"id":30786,"date":"2024-06-17T17:40:18","date_gmt":"2024-06-17T17:40:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sasquatchnewsonline.com\/?p=30786"},"modified":"2024-06-17T17:40:18","modified_gmt":"2024-06-17T17:40:18","slug":"trump-hater-kathy-griffin-unable-to-speak-after-latest-surgery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sasquatchnewsonline.com\/?p=30786","title":{"rendered":"Trump Hater Kathy Griffin Unable to Speak After Latest Surgery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Trump hater Kathy Griffin is in the news again.<\/p>\n<p>Kathy Griffin cannot speak for a few weeks after having vocal cord surgery.<\/p>\n<p>Excerpt from<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/entertainment\/kathy-griffin-undergoes-second-vocal-cord-surgery-leaving-unable-speak-two-weeks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Fox News<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, the 63-year-old comedian \u2013 who has been open about her vocal cord issues since being diagnosed with lung cancer in 2021 \u2013 uploaded a video to Instagram explaining the details of her impending vocal cord surgery.<\/p>\n<p>The actress revealed she will not be able to speak for a couple of weeks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne thing that sucks about cancer, it\u2019s hard to focus on anything else when one is experiencing shortness of breath, deep coughing, pain, extreme fatigue &amp;, in my case, vocal cord issues,\u201d she wrote on Instagram at the time. \u201cOne thing that doesn\u2019t suck about cancer\u2026 how shameless I am when clapping back at people dare to sass Ms. Kathy about anything. Try CANCER! I cannot get enough of it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Doctors removed half of her left lung, which left her with vocal cord issues.<\/p>\n<p>In May 2023, Griffin underwent an operation on her left vocal cord.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m getting an implant in my left vocal cord, which was left permanently paralyzed during my lung cancer surgery, where they took out half my left lung,\u201d Kathy Griffin said in a social media post. \u201cI also have an aperture, which is a tear above my vocal cords and that\u2019s why sometimes when I\u2019m doing stand-up my voice goes to a higher pitch.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, anyway, I\u2019m never nervous before surgery and I\u2019ve had quite a few. But I am a little nervous about this one \u2019cause it\u2019s my voice, and I\u2019ve already gone through it once with the voice problem,\u201d Griffin added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnyway, wish me luck, and I can\u2019t talk at all for two weeks, which is going to drive me crazy. So I\u2019ll be watching a lot of TikTok, and I won\u2019t be making any,\u201d she said. \u201cAnyway, that\u2019s the update.
