It never ceases to amaze this writer how undemocratic the \u201cDemocratic\u201d party can be.<\/p>\n
Just a month ago, party leaders unceremoniously replaced their nominee with Vice President Kamala Harris, who hadn\u2019t won a single primary vote.<\/p>\n
Working alongside Big Tech censors and powerful corporate media outlets, Democrat elites have conspired to silence speech that won\u2019t help Harris win the forthcoming presidential election.<\/p>\n
Bluntly put, the Democrats want to keep Americans in the dark.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s perhaps no better evidence of this than recent reports that multiple members of the party are urging Harris not to share a policy platform.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s right: the Democrats don\u2019t want potential Harris voters to know anything about their candidate\u2019s policy prescriptions before voting her into office.<\/p>\n
Many in the party feel that if Harris<\/a> focuses on \u201ccharacter\u201d over policy, her chances will improve dramatically.<\/p>\n Doing so will certainly lock up Never Trumpers and sufferers of Trump Derangement Syndrome.<\/p>\n In other words, they hope that voters\u2019 hate for Trump will be a stronger motivator than any of the economic or social issues that Harris and President Joe Biden are actively losing on.<\/p>\n \u201cI actually think the way the American people think about this choice is less about the minutiae of policy and more about the direction of the country, number one, and secondly, about the person. Character it does matter,\u201d Michigan Rep. Dan Kildee told CNN<\/a>.<\/p>\n He added: \u201cIf it turns on character, this election is over. That\u2019s what people are looking for.\u201d<\/p>\n Other Democrats all but admitted to CNN that a defining of Harris\u2019s policies would actually hurt her.<\/p>\n \u201cShe doesn\u2019t need to negotiate against herself. You know, we\u2019ve got the biggest possible tent right now,\u201d New Hampshire Rep. Annie Kuster said.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t think there\u2019s a real, strong reason for her to try and weed out any points of view right now,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n Per The Hill<\/a>, Harris doesn\u2019t have an official policy page on her website and likely won\u2019t be adding one anytime soon.<\/p>\n In total and complete fairness, Harris did finally come out of hiding for a smidge on Thursday. (On an exceptionally friendly network. With her running mate in tow.)<\/p>\n Though, in truth, her interview with CNN<\/a> \u2014 Harris\u2019s first since becoming the de facto party leader \u2014 left more questions than answers.<\/p>\n The far-from-unbiased Dana Bash<\/a> refused to press Harris on key questions.<\/p>\n What\u2019s more, she brought along her fellow far-left running mate, Minnesota Gov.
