A taxpayer-funded initiative by the Biden-Harris regime facilitated the transit of a known gang member, leading directly to the murder of 22-year-old University of Georgia student Laken Riley, according to courtroom testimony of the suspect\u2019s roommate during the second trial.<\/p>\n

Laken Riley, an aspiring nurse from Augusta University, tragically fell victim to a brutal attack by Jose Ibarra, a 26-year-old illegal immigrant from Venezuela and alleged member of the notorious Tren de Aragua gang.<\/p>\n

According to court documents, Jose Ibarra not only killed Riley but also \u201cdisfigured her skull\u201d<\/a> in an act of unimaginable violence. Ibarra\u2019s criminal history includes being a \u201cpeeping Tom,\u201d as detailed in the indictment, which accused him of spying on a university staff member on the same day as the murder.<\/p>\n

Joe Biden hesitated even to say Laken Riley\u2019s name, and he apologized\u00a0<\/a>for calling her killer an \u201cillegal immigrant.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ibarra entered the U.S. illegally under the Biden administration\u2019s lax border policies.<\/p>\n

The illegal from Venezuela was indicted on 10 counts, and his trial is underway.<\/p>\n

During the first trial, the horrific 911 call Laken placed while fighting for her life was played in court as the accused sat emotionless.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors revealed that Laken fought for her life for 18 minutes<\/a> before Ibarra allegedly smashed her head in with a rock and then asphyxiated her after she fought off his sexual attack.<\/p>\n

During Monday\u2019s trial, Ibarra\u2019s ex-roommate, Rosebeli Flores-Bello, testified in court that they requested the flight from a migrant intake center at Manhattan\u2019s Roosevelt Hotel, a facility overwhelmed by the consequences of the administration\u2019s border mismanagement.<\/p>\n

According to Bello, they were flown from New York City to Georgia on a flight funded by federal taxpayer dollars in September 2023, merely months before he committed the heinous act.<\/p>\n

The flight was part of a controversial program set up by the Biden-Harris regime, ostensibly to help migrants relocate.<\/p>\n

A former roommate of Mr. Ibarra\u2019s testified that she met Mr. Ibarra last year in New York City and traveled with him to Athens in September 2023 after Mr. Ibarra\u2019s brother told them they could find jobs there.<\/p>\n

They lived for a while with Mr. Ibarra\u2019s wife and mother-in-law at a Crowne Plaza hotel in Queens that had been converted to a migrant shelter, the roommate, Rosbeli Flores-Bello, said. And for a few weeks, she added, she and Mr. Ibarra lived in a car parked on the street by the hotel.<\/p>\n

Ms. Flores-Bello said that Mr. Ibarra\u2019s brother Diego had constantly called him in New York, telling him to move to Athens because there were good work opportunities.<\/p>\n

In early September last year, Ms. Flores testified, she and Mr. Ibarra asked for plane tickets to Atlanta at the Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan, which had become New York City\u2019s official welcome center for migrants. Through a process known as \u201creticketing,\u201d the city has paid for the travel of tens of thousands of migrants who wish to move elsewhere.<\/p>\n

They flew to Atlanta on Sept. 28 and moved into the apartment in Athens where, five months later, Ms. Flores-Bello would awake to police officers coming to arrest her roommate on a murder charge.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

New York City officials attempted to deflect responsibility, with a representative for Mayor Eric Adams acknowledging the \u201cgut-wrenching tragedy\u201d of Riley\u2019s death while blaming the \u201cbroken immigration system\u201d for the crisis, according to the New York Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The amount of criminal activities and corruption going on in the US today under the Biden-Harris is unimaginable. The deaths of Laken Riley and others at the hands of illegal immigrants rest squarely on the shoulders of Biden and Harris.<\/p>\n

The Biden regime, aided by a corrupt DOJ, is flying planeloads of illegal immigrants from the Southern border to states across the country, which started three years ago.<\/p>\n

They are hiding these flights from the public by moving the illegals in the middle of the night.<\/p>\n
