According to a report<\/a> from Politico, the firebrand Georgia Congresswoman said she would fight any transgender woman attempting to use the woman\u2019s bathroom in the Capitol building.<\/p>\n Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene in a private House GOP conference meeting indicated she\u2019d fight a transgender woman if she tried to use a woman\u2019s bathroom on the House side of the Capitol, according to two people in the room, as Congress\u2019 first openly transgender lawmaker is set to assume office in January.<\/p>\n Greene, when asked about the comments after the meeting, didn\u2019t explicitly confirm the remarks but said she \u201cshouldn\u2019t have to.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s pretty aggressive for biological men to be invading our spaces,\u201d Greene said.<\/p>\n Separately, she said that Speaker Mike Johnson has backed her up on the point that \u201cbiological men\u201d shouldn\u2019t be using women\u2019s bathrooms.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Greene\u2019s comments come ahead of the swearing in of Sarah McBride, a Delaware State Senator who election to the House of Representatives representing her state\u2019s only Congressional district.<\/p>\n Delaware State Senator Becomes First Transgender Elected to U.S. Congress<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n In a video posted on the X platform, Greene also makes clear that she will not be referring to McBride as a woman, instead referring to him as a male using “he\/him” pronouns.<\/p>\n JUST IN: Reps.
