Oliver Anthony, the surprise country music star who seemed to appear out of thin air last year<\/a> with his viral hit song \u2018Rich Men North of Richmond\u2019<\/em> has just put out a cover of the classic song \u2018Country Roads\u2019<\/em> which he says he has gotten tons of requests for.<\/p>\n

This was one of John Denver\u2019s greatest hits. It\u2019s the type of song that almost everyone knows the words to because of its popularity over the years.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s also a perfect song for Anthony\u2019s style. <\/p>\n

A few weeks ago, it was reported that Oliver Anthony is not staying in the music business for much longer. He is going to launch a ministry.<\/p>\n

In a lengthy YouTube video this week, the 32-year-old, whose real name is Christopher Anthony Lunsford and who rose to fame a year ago with his hit song \u201cRich Men North of Richmond,\u201d sat in a wooded area with his two dogs opining on life and his career. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve decided that moving forward, I don\u2019t need a Nashville management company. I don\u2019t even need to exist within the space of music. So, I\u2019m looking at switching my whole business over to a traveling ministry,\u201d Anthony revealed after discussing how he believes \u201cour system is broken.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added that he wants to \u201ckind of keep things in the family business,\u201d noting that his great-grandfather had been a traveling minister. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

That\u2019s a noble pursuit. Good for him.<\/p>\n
