A Chicago-area Democrat politician showed her true colors after whipping out her Democrat privilege and insulting a police officer over the size of his anatomy after being busted for drunk driving earlier this month.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Chicago Sun-Times<\/em> reported<\/a> that Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Samantha Steele was arrested by police officers after crashing into a vehicle while intoxicated. Police said the arrest occurred around 8:50 p.m. Sunday, November 10, in the 5000 block of North Ashland Avenue.<\/p>\n

According to<\/a> police reports, officers encountered two cars with \u201cextensive\u201d damage, including Steele\u2019s. She admitted to the cops that she had crashed into another vehicle.<\/p>\n

Police discovered an open bottle of red wine on the floor of the passenger side of her car and noted Steele was not sober.<\/p>\n

\u201cI observed her eyes were bloodshot and glassy,\u201d an officer wrote in a report. \u201cI also detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from her breath as she spoke.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bodycam footage emerged<\/a> on Saturday, capturing the exchange between Steele and the officers. She repeatedly refuses to comply with requests to exit the vehicle while bragging she is an elected official from Cook County.<\/p>\n

Officers finally opened the car door and pulled her out. Steele refused field sobriety tests and declined to provide a breathalyzer sample, forcing the cops to make an arrest.<\/p>\n

During the arrest, Steele also repeatedly mocked <\/a>the size of one of the officers\u2019 p*nis. \u201cIs your p*nis that small?\u201d she asked. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The Democrat politician was transported to and treated at a local hospital for treatment after complaining of head injuries before being sent to sent to the Lincoln (20th) District. There, she was charged with misdemeanor drunken driving and subsequently released.<\/a><\/p>\n

Steele faces a fine<\/a> up to $2,500 and the loss of her driving privileges for up to one year if convicted. Her court date has been set for December 27.<\/p>\n

According to <\/a>the Sun-Times<\/em> Steele lives in Evanston and represents the Board of Review\u2019s District 2. This includes most of the North Side of Chicago and the northern suburbs.<\/p>\n

FOX 32 reported<\/a> Cook County Commissioner Sean Morrison released a statement demanding her resignation, pointing to her \u201caggressive behavior\u201d during the arrest.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis incident raises serious concerns about her conduct and judgment as an elected official,\u201d Morrison said. \u201cIf an elected official does not respect our dedicated police officers, then how can we expect the citizens to respect the police?\u201d<\/p>\n
