Despite being vilified every single day on the news, and operating on the other side of the pond, it turns out that, for the UK citizens, US President-Elect Donald J. Trump and tech billionaire\/DOGE director Elon Musk are still more popular than embattled Labour Premier Keir Starmer.<\/p>\n

An exclusive polling for The Telegraph<\/a> has shown this curious situation.<\/p>\n

\u201cA survey conducted by Freshwater Strategy shows Mr. Trump, the president-elect, has a net favorability in Britain of -24 points while the Prime Minister scored -30.<\/em><\/p>\n

Similarly, Elon Musk has a higher net favorability among UK voters than Sir Keir. He is looked on unfavorably by most voters, but less so than the prime minister with a -17 popularity rating.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Out of the public figures featured in the poll, King Charles was the most popular with a positive rating of 27 points, followed by former Top Gear presenter turned farmer Jeremy Clarkson.<\/p>\n

Clarkson has been in the news recently after vocally opposing the Government\u2019s new agricultural policies \u2013 the same instance by Musk, who called the policies \u2018full Stalin\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Clarkson] appeared at a major protest in Westminster last week and gave a speech in which he said Chancellor Rachel Reeves\u2019 changes to inheritance tax relief for farmers were a mistake and urged the government to perform an about-turn.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

He has ruled out a move into politics.<\/p>\n

\u201cKeir Starmer has gone from a record-breaking landslide election victory to widespread unpopularity in a shockingly short period. Now, even controversial American figures like president-elect Donald Trump and entrepreneur Elon Musk are viewed more favorably among the British public.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cIt should be acknowledged that none are particularly popular. Nevertheless, falling that far, that quickly \u2013 from the heights of electoral success to being less favorably regarded than globally polarizing figures \u2013 raises serious questions about Starmer\u2019s leadership and ability to regain public confidence.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
