Hours after authorities detained Luigi Mangione, 26, a cryptic video was uploaded to a YouTube account allegedly linked to Mangione.<\/p>\n

As The Gateway Pundit<\/a> previously reported, 26-year-old Luigi Mangione was arrested on Monday on gun charges after being recognized as the person of interest in connection to the fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.<\/p>\n

Mangione was found inside a McDonald\u2019s by police after an employee recognized Mangione as the person of interest distributed on wanted posters for the killing of Brian Thompson.<\/p>\n

As local police arrived, they discovered a gun that was \u201cconsistent with the weapon used in the murder of Brian Thompson,\u201d fake IDs, and a manifesto railing on corporate America.<\/p>\n

After Mangione was arrested, a video appeared on a YouTube<\/a> channel that allegedly belonged to Magione.<\/p>\n

The Gateway Pundit cannot independently verify whether Luigi is the owner or operator of the mentioned YouTube account. The account was created on January 20, 2024 and only one video was posted.<\/p>\n

The video showed a countdown clock that said, \u201cIf you see this, I\u2019m already under arrest.\u201d<\/p>\n

Several hours after police made what appears to be a major break in the fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson<\/a>, a cryptic video was uploaded to YouTube from an account that appears to be linked to the man they detained as a person of interest in the case.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you see this, I\u2019m already under arrest,\u201d said a caption in the silent 84-second clip posted by the account @PepMangione, which matches other social handles that appear to be those of Luigi Mangione, the man arrested on Monday.<\/p>\n

The message was accompanied by a countdown from 60 seconds. Near the end of the video, the message, \u201cSoon\u2026\u201d appeared at the bottom right of a black screen. A second caption appeared at the end of the video, saying, \u201cAll is scheduled, be patient. Bye for now.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the account is not confirmed to be that of Mangione\u2019s, the user\u2019s photo is his, and a description on their page references Mangione\u2019s education at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as his age. It says the user joined YouTube on January 20 of this year. Monday\u2019s video appears to be the only piece of content that\u2019s been uploaded by the account.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn this case, the suspect probably set up a sort of deadman switch by continually rescheduling the video for the day after today, until he was suddenly in custody and couldn\u2019t,\u201d computer science engineer John Maly told\u00a0Newsweek<\/em>. Assuming this is indeed his account and his video, it certainly doesn\u2019t help his case in court.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Police are questioning a man in Altoona, Pennsylvania, in connection with the fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson last week in Manhattan.<\/p>\n

NYPD officials on Monday identified the man as 26-year-old Luigi Mangione. He is under arrest on gun charges, police said.<\/p>\n

How he was found: The suspect was \u201csitting there eating\u201d at a McDonald\u2019s in Altoona, Pennsylvania, when an employee of the restaurant recognized him and called police, NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said.
