Reid Hoffman, the billionaire tech mogul and Democrat megadonor, is once again making headlines\u2014this time claiming that President-elect Donald Trump will punish him for backing Kamala Harris.<\/p>\n

In a self-pitying interview on the Diary of a CEO podcast, Hoffman alleged there\u2019s a greater than 50% chance Trump would weaponize the IRS or other government institutions to target him.<\/p>\n

Hoffman, a founding member of PayPal and the founder of LinkedIn, has long thrown his immense wealth behind Democrat causes and candidates.<\/p>\n

As an early investor in Facebook and Airbnb, Hoffman has cemented himself among Silicon Valley elites\u2014a circle where Trump Derangement Syndrome runs rampant.<\/p>\n

The interview revealed Hoffman\u2019s growing paranoia and fear of Trump\u2019s political comeback.<\/p>\n

When asked by podcast host Steven Bartlett whether he expected to face consequences for his financial support of Harris, Hoffman lamented:<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, I think that there is a greater than 50% chance that there will be repercussions from a misdirection and corruption of the institutions of state to respond to my having tried to help Harris get elected.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Hoffman doubled down, suggesting Trump could target him through IRS audits, weaponized government contracts, or worse:<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope it\u2019s only in soft ends of the range, like IRS audits or phone calls like Trump made saying, deny Bezos that DOD contract because he owns the Washington Post and I don\u2019t like him\u2026 It could get much worse, but I don\u2019t really want to speculate on it because I don\u2019t want to give anybody any ideas.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

While Hoffman paints himself as the victim of hypothetical political retribution, his alleged ties to disgraced financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein cannot be ignored.<\/p>\n

Hoffman\u2019s relationship with Epstein has drawn increased scrutiny in recent months, particularly after Tesla CEO Elon Musk weighed in.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Musk replied to an X post that insinuated Hoffman had visited Epstein\u2019s private island, responding with the \u201c100\u201d emoji.<\/p>\n

Musk previously suggested Hoffman\u2014a major donor to Harris\u2014was \u201cterrified\u201d of the Epstein client list being made public.<\/p>\n

During an interview with Tucker Carlson last October<\/a>, Musk claimed that Hoffman and other billionaires support Kamala Harris because they are on the Epstein client list.<\/p>\n

\u201cWill [the Epstein list] ever come you think?\u201d Tucker Carlson asked Elon Musk.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, part of why Kamala is getting so much support is that if Trump wins, that Epstein client list is gonna become public,\u201d Elon Musk said.<\/p>\n

Elon Musk continued, \u201cAnd some of those billionaires behind Kamala are terrified of that outcome.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDo you think Reid Hoffman\u2019s uncomfortable?\u201d Tucker asked, referring to the billionaire LinkedIn founder.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, and [Bill] Gates,\u201d Elon Musk said.<\/p>\n

Hoffman has fervently denied any wrongdoing, calling Musk\u2019s claims \u201cdefamation\u201d and lamenting the toll it has taken on him emotionally and financially.<\/p>\n

He even admitted to hiring private security staff, blaming Musk\u2019s public comments for a spike in threats against him.<\/p>\n

Hoffman\u2019s public meltdown reeks of hypocrisy. Here is a billionaire tech mogul, deeply entrenched in the elitist circles that fund leftist causes, suddenly worried about government weaponization. This is the same Democratic donor class that cheered when Joe Biden\u2019s DOJ targeted Trump allies, from Steve Bannon to Peter Navarro.<\/p>\n

Hoffman\u2019s fear of Trump\u2019s return may stem from the realization that his actions\u2014and those of his leftist allies\u2014won\u2019t go unchecked forever.<\/p>\n

After years of Biden\u2019s government abusing its power to silence conservatives, Hoffman\u2019s faux outrage over hypothetical IRS audits rings hollow.<\/p>\n
