Joe Biden canceled student loans for 150,000 borrowers on Monday one week before Trump’s inauguration.

“Today, my Administration is approving student loan relief for more than 150,000 borrowers – bringing the total number of Americans who have had their student debt cancelled by my Administration to over 5 million. These 150,000 borrowers include: almost 85,000 borrowers who attended schools that cheated and defrauded their students, 61,000 borrowers with total and permanent disabilities, and 6,100 public service workers,” Biden said in a statement on Monday.

Joe Biden boasted about passing down the ‘canceled’ student loan costs to the working class and middle-class families that never sent their kids to college. Biden also punished the responsible people who paid back their student loans in full because they don’t get refunds.

“Since Day One of my Administration, I promised to ensure higher-education is a ticket to the middle class, not a barrier to opportunity, and I’m proud to say we have forgiven more student loan debt than any other administration in history,” Biden said.

NBC News reported:

With just days left in his term, President Joe Biden announced Monday that his administration had approved student loan relief for more than 150,000 borrowers, bringing the total number who have had their student debt cancelled under the Biden administration to over 5 million, he said in a White House release.

Although Biden lost the legal battle to deliver on his campaign promise of implementing a broad federal student loan forgiveness program, the president said Monday that his administration has still “forgiven more student loan debt than any other administration in history.”

The 150,000 new beneficiaries announced Monday include more than 80,000 borrowers who were cheated or defrauded by their schools, over 60,000 borrowers with total and permanent disabilities, and more than 6,000 public service workers, Biden said in the release.

Joe Biden unilaterally announced a massive forgiveness of student loans last August to buy the Gen Z-Millennial vote in the 2022 midterms.

After his initial loan forgiveness announcement, Biden continued to unveil new ‘workarounds’ following the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down the debt cancelations.

It was reported earlier this month that President Trump has plans to immediately unwind Joe Biden’s unconstitutional student loan forgiveness program.

The Trump Transition team is working to immediately rescind Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan.

“President-elect Donald Trump is poised to pull the plug on President Joe Biden’s yearslong push to cancel student debt for tens of millions of people as Republicans sweep into power in the coming months,” Politico reported.

Last month Joe Biden backed off from two of his major student loan cancelation plans because his political career is over. It was all a political stunt.
