Former House Speaker Paul Ryan appeared on CNBC today and was utterly annihilated for refusing to support President Trump.<\/p>\n

The infamous Never-Trump RINO appeared on Squawk Box<\/em> on Thursday <\/a>to discuss the incoming Trump Adminstration\u2019s agenda. But things quickly got spicy between him and one of the co-hosts.<\/p>\n

Ryan told Squawk Box<\/em> he wanted to let bygones be bygones and called for the country to rally around Trump\u2019s Administration. But Joe Kernan was not so willing to let Ryan off the hook and proceeded to roast him brutally.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo now you\u2019re calling for unity,\u201d Kernan scoffed. After Ryan smiled and affirmed that he was, Kernan let him have it.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt would have been nice before the election,\u201d Kernan pointed out. \u201cThe other thing I thought was funny was when you said (mocking voice) \u2018Hey look, I want Trump to succeed.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know who that sounds like?\u201d he continued. \u201cIt sounds like a Democrat!\u201d<\/p>\n

Kernan then laughed in Ryan\u2019s face.<\/p>\n

Ryan responded that he was a conservative Republican who agreed with Trump on most issues, but sometimes \u201chis brand of conservatism\u201d runs counter to Trump\u2019s. Then Kernan dropped another hammer on Ryan\u2019s head.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was always a binary choice (between Harris and Trump), Kernan explained. \u201cAnd a vote not for Trump was a vote for Kamala Harris.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCan you imagine!\u201d he added while laughing. \u201cCan you imagine!\u201d<\/p>\n

Ryan then compared his views to Trump\u2019s again in an attempt to highlight common ground, citing immigration, tax, and regulatory policy in particular.<\/p>\n

Kernan closed by reminding Ryan not to sacrifice \u201cthe good for the perfect\u201d like Ryan did in November\u2019s election.<\/p>\n

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported<\/a>, Ryan publicly declared Trump \u201cunfit for office back in July and said he would not support Trump in the 2024 Presidential election.<\/p>\n

In an interview with fellow Never-Trumper Neil Cavuto, Ryan attributed his decision to withdraw support from Trump partially to the Jan. 6, 2021 riot on the Capitol.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s a part of it. I think it\u2019s a contribution of factors. I think it really is just character at the end of the day, and the fact that if you\u2019re willing to put yourself above the Constitution \u2015 an oath you swear when you take federal office, whether as president or a member of Congress, you swear an oath to the Constitution \u2015 and you\u2019re willing to suborn it to yourself, I think that makes you unfit for office.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
