0.9%<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The GDP shrank by 1.6 percent in the first quarter of 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The US economy is in a recession no matter what Joe Biden says.<\/p>\n<p>Joe Biden put a new spin on the health of the economy after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/2022\/07\/not-recession-joe-biden-us-enters-recession-gdp-shrinks-second-consecutive-quarter-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">denying the US is in a recession<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Biden told the CEOs that the US is just transitioning to \u201cstable, steady growth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow there\u2019s no doubt that we expect growth to be slower than last year\u2026 but that\u2019s consistent with a transition to a stable, steady growth and lower inflation,\u201d said Biden.<\/p>\n<p>He actually said this
