The former vice-president and Democratic nominee, who suffered a landslide defeat at the hands of Donald Trump, made an appearance at the Los Angeles Lakers game on Thursday with her husband, Doug Emhoff.<\/p>\n

Yet to describe their entrance as underwhelming would be an understatement.<\/p>\n

Footage circulating online shows Harris and Emhoff walking up the stairs to take their seats at the Lakers Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

While a few fans greeted Harris or looked over at the former vice-president out of curiosity, the response appeared to be one of total ambivalence.<\/p>\n

Despite Harris\u2019s widespread unpopularity, one might have thought that the former vice-president, who served for four years as the state\u2019s U.S. Senator, would be received with more enthusiasm by her fellow Californians.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, compare that to the reception Donald Trump received while he was out of office while attending a UFC event back in July 2023.<\/p>\n

Such a lack of interest is even more concerning for Harris given reports that she is mulling her political comeback.<\/p>\n

Soon after her humiliating election defeat, Politico reported that Harris was interested in running to replace Gavin Newsom as governor of California in 2026.<\/p>\n

That same report suggested that Harris had also not ruled out the possibility of a 2028 presidential bid, although it seems highly unlikely that the Democratic Party would ever nominate her again.<\/p>\n
