\u201cThe Little Mermaid\u201d actress Halle Bailey has secured a restraining order against the rapper father of her baby, citing violence and fears for their 17-month-old son\u2019s safety.<\/h3>\n

A Los Angeles judge granted a restraining order against rapper and YouTuber Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., better known as \u201cDDG,\u201d on Monday.<\/p>\n

Bailey told the court that he had been violent with her multiple times since their breakup last year.<\/p>\n

\u201cThroughout our relationship,\u201d Bailey said in court documents, \u201cDaryl has been and continues to be physically, verbally, emotionally, and financially abusive towards me. I am seeking orders to protect myself and our son Halo from his ongoing abuse.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress said that in January, the rapper continuously called her a \u201cbitch\u201d while she was trying to put their baby in his car seat.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe next thing I knew, things got physical between us,\u201d Bailey said. \u201cWe fought each other, wrestling and tussling. At one point, Darryl was pulling my hair. He then slammed my face on the steering wheel, causing my tooth to get chipped. I then stopped fighting back as I was in a lot of pain.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bailey provided photographs of her injuries.<\/p>\n

In March, Granberry allegedly broke into her home and sent her a threatening message along with a photo of her bed.<\/p>\n

\u201cA few days later, she said, he berated her when she did not want to send their sick baby on a visit with him, and smashed the Ring camera on her porch when he realized it was recording the confrontation,\u201d Breitbart News reports<\/a>. \u201cShe said when she called a relative for help, he took her phone and got into his car, slamming the door on her as she was holding the baby. Bailey filed a police report over the incident.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bailey also told the court that he is using his large social media audience to harass her.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhenever he wishes to cause upset, he starts bad mouthing me to his several millions of fans,\u201d Bailey said. \u201cHe claims I am withholding our son and that I am with other men. As a result, I then receive threats and hate on social media.\u201d<\/p>\n

Granberry has been ordered not to contact Bailey or their son until after a hearing on June 6. He has also been ordered not to possess any weapons.<\/p>\n
