This military spouse, Air Force veteran, Maxim model, Turning Point influencer, badass Congresswoman is a force in the United States House of Representatives. She led the resolution to censure Adam Schiff. She\u2019s a tireless advocate for fellow veterans in her Tampa Bay area district. She\u2019s an excellent communicator and a thought leader in the strident House Freedom Caucus. <\/p>\n

Did you also know there was a plot to assassinate her during her second and successful run for Congress? In 2021, during the Republican primary for Florida\u2019s 13th Congressional district, candidate William Robert Braddock III, which, by the way, is just a delightful name, he threatened to have his opponent, Congresswoman Luna, assassinated. In a recorded call with a GOP activist, Braddock claimed that he would employ a Russian-Ukrainian hit squad to eliminate Luna if she continued to perform well in the polls because voters actually like her. If that sounds crazy to you, it sounded crazy to a lot of people. They said she was nuts. They said, I was nuts to endorse her. But then listen to the tape.<\/p>\n

Braddock:<\/strong> \u201cIf the poll says Luna is going to win, she\u2019s going to be gone. She\u2019s going to disappear. She\u2019s a stupid C**t, excuse my language, social media influencer. There\u2019s no reason she should be in office. Let\u2019s just say that Luna is going to win. She won\u2019t. And if we have polling that proves she won\u2019t, she\u2019s going to be gone. Period. That\u2019s the end of discussion. Luna is not an issue. <\/p>\n

Braddock:<\/strong> I call up my Russian and Ukrainian hit squad, and within 24 hours, they\u2019re sending me pictures of her disappearing. Close battle, combat, tech-nines, maktans, silencers, thing. No snipers. Up close and personal so they know the person. They know that the target is gone. Don\u2019t be on the wrong side of supporting Luna because if you\u2019re near her when time comes, I just don\u2019t want that to happen to you. You\u2019ve got kids. I\u2019m not just blowing smoke here. I\u2019m being dead-ass serious. It scares the shit me, too.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

I don\u2019t even know what to say. It\u2019s unlike any discussion I\u2019ve literally ever heard in the context of politics. When you see that type If a person put themselves up for a public office, it makes you wonder what vetting we\u2019re doing on them. The incident prompted Luna to seek a restraining order against Braddock, and Braddock subsequently left the country, resided in Thailand, and then later moved to the Philippines. In 2023, he surrendered to authorities in Manila and was extradited to the United States. Just this week, Braddock was sentenced to three years in federal prison after pleading guilty to transmitting an interstate threat of injury. I just have to take a note. Three years? They gave George Santos seven years for OnlyFans. This guy was out there threatening to kill his opponent and describing in detail how she was going to be murdered, and he got only three years? I think he should rot in prison.<\/p>\n
