Senator Chuck Grassley on Wednesday released a newly declassified document<\/a> proving Fusion GPS contractor Nellie Ohr lied to Congress about her involvement in Russiagate.<\/p>\n

Last month Grassley asked <\/a>FBI Director Kash Patel to declassify the FBI\u2019s analysis of Nellie Ohr\u2019s criminal referral after she lied to Congress.<\/p>\n

Recall that Nellie Ohr played a key role in the genesis of the FBI\u2019s 2016 \u201cCrossfire Hurricane\u201d investigation into President Trump.<\/p>\n

Nellie Ohr, wife of fired DOJ official Bruce Ohr was\u00a0criminally referred<\/a>\u00a0to the Justice Department in 2019 by House Republicans after hundreds of new emails surfaced, contradicting her previous statements to Congress.<\/p>\n

A series of \u201cHi Honey\u201d emails from Nellie Ohr to her top DOJ husband Bruce Ohr surfaced and suggested Hillary-funded oppo research was being funneled into the DOJ during the 2016 election through a backchannel between the happily married Ohr couple.<\/p>\n

Nellie Ohr previously told Congress that during the 2016 election, she worked for Fusion GPS to help them connect Trump and Manafort to Russian organized crime.<\/p>\n

However, Nellie Ohr emails discovered through a Judicial Watch FOIA lawsuit showed evidence to the contrary.<\/p>\n

Grassley asked Kash Patel to \u201cdeclassify the FBI\u2019s analysis of a congressional criminal referral issued for Nellie Ohr following her false statements to Congress in 2018.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Wednesday Grassley released the newly declassified document that proves Nellie Ohr lied to Congress about her involvement in Russiagate and Crossfire Hurricane.<\/p>\n

The document outlines details about Nellie Ohr\u2019s testimony and the DOJ\u2019s refusal to take action to hold her accountable for lying under oath.<\/p>\n

Recall that Nellie Ohr used her husband and DOJ official Bruce Ohr as a backchannel and provided him with a thumb drive with her Fusion GPS oppo research. <\/p>\n
