President Trump tore Harvard to shreds on Wednesday in the Oval Office when he was asked several questions about the ongoing battle between his Administration and the Ivy League University.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Trump Administration\u00a0froze<\/a> more than $2.7 billion in multi-year research grants and $60 million in contracts for the school last month. The Administration is also cracking down on Harvard\u2019s use of student visas.<\/p>\n

Last week,\u00a0the Department of Homeland Security informed Harvard University that it will no longer be allowed to issue student visas for international applicants.<\/p>\n

The decision follows Harvard\u2019s failure to supply documentation confirming that it adheres to U.S. laws prohibiting discrimination in the name of DEI, toleration of campus violence, and collaboration with authoritarian foreign regimes, including the Chinese Communist Party.<\/p>\n

However, an Obama Judge blocked<\/a>\u00a0the Trump Administration from revoking Harvard\u2019s foreign enrollment abilities on Friday.<\/p>\n

During Jeanine Pirro\u2019s swearing-in as Interim US Attorney for the District of Columbia, President Trump took questions on his ongoing feud with Harvard.<\/p>\n

During the press conference, the President doubled down on his threat to take $3 billion<\/a> in grant money from Harvard and redistribute it to trade schools across the United States. \u201cWith that kind of money, and money from others, but money from them, you can have the best trade schools anywhere in the world,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Reporter:<\/strong> When could the administration resume the interviews for foreign students\u2019 visas?<\/p>\n

Trump:<\/strong> Well, we\u2019re going to see. Look, Harvard has been a disaster. They\u2019ve taken five plus, by the way, $5 billion plus. $5 billion. Nobody knew that they were making this kind\u2014 if we didn\u2019t do this, nobody would have, we would have never found this out, Pam. They\u2019re taking $5 billion, and I\u2019d rather see that money go to trade schools. And by the way, they\u2019re totally anti-semitic at Harvard, as you know, and some other colleges too, in all fairness to them. And it\u2019s been exposed, very exposed, and I think they\u2019re dealing very badly. Every time they fight, they lose another $250 million. Yesterday, we found another $100 million, and they have, you know, they have a fund, an endowment, $52 billion, all right? They get a lot of that from the United States, and I think it\u2019s ridiculous. I think this\u2014 everyone\u2019s coming up to me saying, we love the idea of trade schools. With that kind of money, and money from others, but money from them, you can have the best trade schools anywhere in the world. You give them to Iowa, Indiana, lots of good states, well run states, and you give them the money, they can only be used for trade schools, and they\u2019ll teach people how to build motors and cars and AI. You know the AI, we\u2019re building plants, we\u2019re building hundreds of billions of dollars worth of AI plants already started, many of them. We\u2019ve never had a boom like we\u2019re having now. You\u2019re going to see it. There\u2019s never been anything like it. So we\u2019re up to about $14 trillion in investments. There\u2019s never been anything even close. You look at Biden, this guy, they had people leaving, as opposed to investing. And they\u2019re doing it because of November 5th, and they\u2019re doing it because of the tariffs. The tariffs have been tremendous. Well, I can promise you, and I have great respect for the people at the European Union, they wouldn\u2019t be over here today negotiating if I didn\u2019t put a 50% tariff on. The sad thing is now, when I make a deal with them, it\u2019s something much more reasonable, they\u2019ll say, \u2018oh, he was chicken. He was chicken.\u2019 That\u2019s so unbelievable. I usually have the opposite problem. They say, \u2018You\u2019re too tough.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The President then slammed Harvard for taking almost 31% foreign students, many of whom are \u201ctroublemakers,\u201d he said. \u201cI think they should have a cap of maybe around 15%, not 31%. We have people who want to go to Harvard and other schools. They can\u2019t get in because we have foreign students there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reporter:<\/strong> On Harvard, there were some Jewish students protesting on campus yesterday. They said they don\u2019t want you making these huge cuts, cutting off student visas to Harvard in their name\u2026<\/p>\n

Trump:\u00a0<\/strong>Well, Harvard has to show us their lists. They have foreign students; about 31% of their students are foreign-based. Almost 31%. We want to know where those students come. Are they troublemakers? What countries do they come? And we\u2019re not going to\u2014 if somebody is coming from a certain country and they\u2019re 100% fine, which I hope most of them are, but many of them won\u2019t be. You\u2019re going to see some very radical people. They\u2019re taking people from areas of the world that are very radicalized, and we don\u2019t want them making trouble in our country. So, I saw yesterday that in the middle, in the middle of the UK, there was a nice young man, he wants to go back to school at Harvard, and he looked good to me, but I want to check his past. But we want to be able to see\u2014 you know, these countries aren\u2019t helping us. They\u2019re not investing in Harvard and all of our\u2014 we are. So, why would 31%, why would a number so big? Number one, I think they should have a cap of maybe around 15%, not 31%. We have people who want to go to Harvard and other schools. They can\u2019t get in because we have foreign students there. But I want to make sure that the foreign students are people that can love our country. We don\u2019t want to see shopping centers exploding. We don\u2019t want to see the kind of riots that you had. And I\u2019ll tell you what, many of those students didn\u2019t go anywhere. Many of those students were trying students were troublemakers caused by the radical left lunatics in this country.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

President Trump further slammed Harvard, saying they are no longer a great school, as evidenced by its new courses on low-skilled, or \u201cremedial,\u201d math, apparently including basic high school algebra.<\/p>\n

According to the student newspaper, the Harvard Crimson<\/a>, \u201cThe Harvard Math Department will pilot a new introductory course aimed at rectifying a lack of foundational algebra skills among students, according to Harvard\u2019s Director of Introductory Math Brendan A. Kelly.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re letting people in, and they\u2019re bragging about how they\u2019re teaching them basic mathematics,\u201d the President said. \u201cWhere did these people come from?\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump said that he wants Harvard \u201cto be great again,\u201d but they \u201cwant to fight.\u201d He continued, \u201cThey want to show how smart they are, and they\u2019re getting their ass kicked.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reporter:<\/strong> How will the confrontation with Harvard end?<\/p>\n

Trump:\u00a0<\/strong>I don\u2019t know. I don\u2019t know, but Harvard\u2019s got to behave themselves. Harvard is treating our country with great disrespect, and all they\u2019re doing is getting in deeper and deeper and deeper. They\u2019ve got to behave themselves. You know, I\u2019m looking out for the country and for Harvard. I want Harvard to do well. I want Harvard to be great again, probably, because how could it be great? How could it be great when you have\u2013 Harvard announced two weeks ago that they\u2019re going to teach remedial mathematics, remedial meaning, they\u2019re going to teach low-grade mathematics, like two plus two is four. How did these people get into Harvard if they can\u2019t, if they can\u2019t do basic mathematics? How did they do it? I mean, people with 1600 on their boards don\u2019t get in, and they\u2019re getting they\u2019re letting people in, and they\u2019re bragging about how they\u2019re teaching them basic mathematics. Where did these people come from? So, we have to look at the list, and Harvard has to understand, the last thing I want to do is hurt them. They\u2019re hurting themselves, they\u2019re fighting. You know, Colombia has been really\u2014 they were very, very bad what they\u2019ve done, they\u2019re very anti-semitic, and lots of other things. But they\u2019re working with us on finding a solution, and you know, they take it off that hot seat, but Harvard wants to fight. They want to show how smart they are, and they\u2019re getting their ass kicked.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
