Casar accused Elon Musk of leveraging his wealth to shape government policy, particularly through his role in the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). He suggested that Democrat-led investigations could involve subpoenas to go after Musk.<\/p>\n

The comments sparked backlash, with many calling Casar\u2019s remarks a threat to weaponize the justice system against Musk. Casar\u2019s statements align with previous statements made by other Democrats vowing to go after Donald Trump, his family and all involved in the Trump administration once Democrats return to power.<\/p>\n
