The View\u00a0<\/em>co-host Sunny Hostin has claimed that Elon Musk\u2019s government cuts have killed over 300,000 people, most of whom are children.<\/p>\n

In Wednesday\u2019s episode of the political talk show, Hostin and her fellow panelists reflected on Musk\u2019s legacy after he recently departed the role of leading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).<\/p>\n

\u201cBut the damage that he did was just really incredible,\u201d Hostin declared.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cHe slashed 250,000 federal employees, more than 8500 contracts, more than 10,000 grants, and his cutbacks on medical research cost the lives of \u2014 the foreign aid \u2014 cost 300,000 lives, mostly children.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s the damage that Elon Musk did,\u201d she continued. \u201cSo I don\u2019t think anyone should be listening to him about anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

It is unclear where Hostin sourced this so-called statistic, although her fellow co-hosts did nothing to push back on it.<\/p>\n

\u201cElon knows the 411 on everything,\u201d fellow co-host Whoopi Goldberg chimed in.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, he got all that information,\u201d Hostin agreed.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo Trump should be afraid of him,\u201d added Joy Behar.\u00a0\u201cHe has the receipts on the election, too.\u201d<\/p>\n

While all the women on\u00a0The View\u00a0<\/em>are known for their virulently anti-Trump views, Hostin is notorious for making ludicrous comments about the current president.<\/p>\n

Back in January, Hostin described the January 6th protests as an \u201catrocity\u201d on a par with the Holocaust.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was one of the worst moments in American history,\u201d she argued.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd when you think about the worst moments in American history, you know, like World War II, things that happened, you know, like the Holocaust, chattel slavery, we need to never forget.\u201d<\/p>\n

More recently, Hositn suggested that Democrats should be willing to \u201cfight and die\u201d in order to fight the Trump administration.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Baby Boomers, the civil rights generation \u2014 they knew what they had to do,\u201d she declared at the time. \u201cThey were willing to fight and die for their rights.\u201d<\/p>\n

This generation of Congress, they are not meeting the moment,\u201d she continued. \u201cThis is an existential crisis.\u201d<\/p>\n
