Far-left CNN anchor Dana Bash got put in her place Sunday morning after making a crazy remark regarding the ongoing riots in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

As The Gateway Pundit reported<\/a>, Violent protests began on Friday after ICE agents conducted multiple raids in downtown Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

The riots continued into Saturday. Protesters started fires, threw projectiles at law enforcement officers, and damaged property in response to LA Mayor Karen Bass\u2019s call for action against ICE agents.<\/p>\n

The situation turned south so quickly that Trump deployed the National Guard<\/a> to restore order while Bass and California Governor Gavin Newsom sat on their hands.<\/p>\n

During an appearance on CNN\u2019s State of the Union, Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) ripped the protesters for not only tearing Los Angeles apart but for carrying Mexico\u2019s national flag while doing so. <\/p>\n

\u201cThey were literally out there protesting, carrying a foreign flag,\u201d Mullin said. \u201cThat is absolutely insane. I mean, they\u2019re not just peaceful protesters. These are illegals. These are exactly why the president is trying to secure our border.\u201d<\/p>\n

Unsurprisingly, Bash\u2019s first thought was to defend the insurrectionists and ignore the crimes committed. <\/p>\n

\u201cWell, carrying a flag is not illegal,\u201d Bash replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cCarrying a foreign flag while you\u2019re attacking law enforcement?\u201d Mullin retorted. \u201cIt\u2019s pretty bad.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bash then made an outrageous comment playing down the violent protests, claiming that what is happening now is far different than the 1992 Rodney King protests. <\/p>\n

\u201cI just want to state for the record that what did happen in 1992 is so different from what we\u2019re seeing now,\u201d Bash said. \u201cThat was a uh, real riot that went all across the city of Los Angeles after a verdict in the Rodney King case\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Mullin then interjected and shut Bash down by pointing out a few simple facts.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cDana, we can look at this, and we obviously see that this is not under control,\u201d Mullin responded. \u201cA riot is a riot. They are throwing all types of objects at law enforcement, and the president is absolutely right (to send in the National Guard).\u201d <\/p>\n
