According to PBD, this isn\u2019t grassroots activism\u2014it\u2019s astroturfed chaos, funded by a shadowy coalition of over 100 progressive organizations, wealthy elites, and Democrat-aligned NGOs, including those reportedly tied to billionaire and Walmart heiress Christy Walton, whose name surfaced in a New York Times expos\u00e9 on the sprawling protest network.<\/p>\n
According to Newsweek<\/a>:<\/p>\n Walmart heiress Christy Walton is facing backlash, and Walmart<\/a>\u00a0is facing some calls for a boycott from Trump supporters after placing a full-page ad in\u00a0The New York Times<\/em>\u00a0urging Americans to attend town halls and engage in civic discourse.<\/p>\n While the \u201cNo Kings Day\u201d ad did not mention President\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a>\u00a0by name, its emphasis on values like honoring commitments to allies, defending against dictators, and respecting trading partners was widely interpreted as a critique of Trump\u2019s foreign policy and \u201cAmerica First\u201d agenda.<\/p>\n A spokesperson for Walmart told\u00a0Newsweek<\/em>: \u201cThe advertisements from Christy Walton are in no way connected to or endorsed by Walmart. She does not serve on the board or play any role in decision making at Walmart.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n PBD accused Democrats of orchestrating 1,500 protests across all 50 states<\/em>\u2014funded by billionaires and shadowy NGOs\u2014as a pretext to paint President Trump as a tyrant and justify sweeping emergency powers.<\/p>\n Patrick Bet-David:<\/strong> Here\u2019s a challenge that Californians have to be thinking about: California\u2014this is the closest it\u2019s ever been to being red. This is the closest California has ever been to being red in a long time. Now, a lot of the people that voted for Trump\u2014the independents, the libertarians, and the conservatives in California that voted for Trump\u2014they want to see changes in California.<\/p>\n Are you going to fall for this tactic? This is a 19\u201320 billion dollar type of person.<\/p>\n A lot of this money\u2014you hear Soros, all these other things that they\u2019re doing. They\u2019re planning this. You know what they\u2019re looking for? I hate to say this\u2014they\u2019re looking for their next George Floyd. That is all they need. They need one person. They need one massive crisis.<\/p>\n They have no policies. They have no good ideas. I\u2019ve yet to see\u2014 I went on ChatGPT. I said, \u201cCan you tell me what solutions Mayor Bass and Gavin Newsom have given to all these protesting?\u201d There are no solutions. It\u2019s meetings. It\u2019s suing Trump.
