Another day, another explosive development in the high-profile trial of disgraced rap mogul Sean \u2018Diddy\u2019 Combs.<\/p>\n

Yesterday (11), it arose that prosecutors want a juror axed from the jury panel. The motion filed in relation to the juror is sealed, so no details have been mentioned in court.<\/p>\n

\u201cBefore the jury came in on Tuesday, prosecutors asked the judge to strike juror #6 from the jury. The judge said an unspecified \u2018issue\u2019 had come up for the government.<\/em><\/p>\n

[\u2026] On Wednesday, Diddy\u2019s lawyers \u2018vigorously\u2019 objected and accused prosecutors of a \u2018Thinly veiled effort to dismiss a black juror\u2019.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Head prosecutor Maurene Comey replied that the government is faced with \u2018what appeared to be a lack of candor with the court that raises serious issues with us.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cBefore cross-examination continued Wednesday of Diddy\u2019s ex-girlfriend, who testified using the pseudonym \u2018Jane\u2019, the defense told Judge Arun Subramanian that they\u2019d like to respond to the government\u2019s attempt to dismiss a Black juror from the case. The U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office allegedly told the court that while the situation was less than desirable, they were compelled to because of a lack of candor.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The judge will rule on the issue of removing a juror once the defense submitted a letter.<\/p>\n

Diddy\u2019s lawyers are objecting to the prosecution\u2019s request to remove Juror No. 6 from the case.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2019We object to ask Juror No. 6 being stricken, and I understand the colloquy is under seal, so I don\u2019t want to explain further on the record now, but if the government is going to put in a letter \u2026 we\u2019d like the opportunity to be heard either in writing or tomorrow morning\u2019, Diddy attorney Alexandra Shapiro said. <\/em><\/p>\n
