A famous Democratic couple\u2019s marriage is under intense scrutiny after reports surfaced of what happened on their most recent wedding anniversary.<\/p>\n

(And no, it\u2019s not the former first couple<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. John Fetterman<\/a>\u2019s recent choice of dining mates \u2014 and who wasn\u2019t among them \u2014 recently raised some eyebrows.<\/p>\n

According<\/a> to Politico, Fetterman spent Monday evening with Breitbart journalist Matt Boyle dining at a restaurant called Butterworth\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Of note, the outlet describes the eatery as \u201cD.C.\u2019s top MAGA hangout.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, it wasn\u2019t just Boyle that hung out with Fetterman.<\/p>\n

The Pennsylvania Democrat was apparently joined by former advisor to President Donald Trump, Steve Bannon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fetterman and Bannon apparently sat and spoke for about 20 minutes.<\/p>\n

The lawmaker didn\u2019t appear to deny that this meeting had happened when asked by reporters about it, but proffered no details otherwise.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh my gosh, I don\u2019t have anything,\u201d Fetterman said, according to The Hill<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A representative for Fetterman also clarified Bannon\u2019s presence at the dinner to the outlet: \u201cThe run-in with Bannon was inadvertent and impromptu.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, the aspect of this report that Mediaite most wanted to focus on was about who wasn\u2019t there that evening \u2014 a notable day, apparently.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat Politico did not mention was that Monday, June 9, was Fetterman\u2019s 17th wedding anniversary with Gisele Fetterman,\u201d Mediaite reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Other journalists on social media also pointed out the significance of that date:<\/p>\n

Fetterman\u2019s marriage to Gisele has come under scrutiny before, with the two seemingly having had their issues last year<\/a>. Some have speculated that the lawmaker\u2019s pro-Israel stance somehow rankled his wife.<\/p>\n

While there is no information about Gisele Fetterman\u2019s whereabouts that Monday night, nor what Boyle and John Fetterman discussed, the Democrat\u2019s presence at a pro-Trump watering hole could have larger political implications.<\/p>\n

While Fetterman still firmly appears to be a Democrat who votes for Democratic causes, he has also had little issue calling out his own side<\/a> when he sees wrong.<\/p>\n

In fact, Fetterman seldom has issues supporting the occasional Republican cause<\/a>, nor is he opposed to sitting down<\/a> with the opposite party.<\/p>\n

Pressingly, harrowing reports<\/a> have suggested that a number of Democrats are genuinely and truly concerned about Fetterman\u2019s mental well-being as of late.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s doubtful these latest reports will assuage those concerns.<\/p>\n
