President Trump has now responded to a provocative report from one of the nation\u2019s leading papers regarding a critical decision on Iran as the country continues attacking Israel.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, The Wall Street Journal alleged that President Trump on Tuesday night told aides that he approved attack plans for Iran but was holding off his final order to see if Tehran would agree to abandon its nuclear weapons program.<\/p>\n

The authors cited three<\/a> anonymous sources that were supposedly \u201cfamiliar\u201d with Trump\u2019s thoughts while coming up with their report.<\/p>\n

The Gateway Pundit previously reported<\/a> President Trump was potentially weighing a strike on Iran during a meeting with his national security team in the Situation Room on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n

The meeting came after Trump threatened to take out Iran\u2019s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.<\/p>\n

For his part, Trump has remained coy<\/a> on whether he would drop bombs on Iran. He has even trolled reporters trying to get an answer from him.<\/p>\n

But Trump has consistently made clear that he is open to negotiation while maintaining that Iran possessing a nuclear weapon was a red line.<\/p>\n

Due to these facts, it would seem unusual for Trump to have already given a green light to attacking the Islamic Republic. Even if true, one would think his team would make sure to keep such a decision a closely-held secret.<\/p>\n

Trump\u2019s reply to the Wall Street Journal was classically fiery and blunt.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Wall Street Journal has No Idea what my thoughts are concerning Iran!\u201d the president wrote on Truth Social.<\/p>\n\n

When will the media learn that nothing is official unless it comes straight from Trump\u2019s mouth?<\/p>\n
