The New York Post is expanding to California.<\/p>\n

The New York-based newspaper, which is owned by Rupert Murdoch\u2019s News Corporation, will launch The California Post <\/em>out of a newsroom in Los Angeles early next year.<\/p>\n

The paper announced<\/a> its plans on Monday:<\/p>\n

The nation\u2019s most popular tabloid will launch The California Post early next year \u2014 delivering its brand of fearless, common-sense journalism and legendary headlines at a critical juncture for the Golden State.<\/p>\n

\u201cLos Angeles and California surely need a daily dose of The Post as an antidote to the jaundiced, jaded journalism that has sadly proliferated,\u201d said Robert Thomson, CEO of The Post\u2019s parent company, News Corp.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are at a pivotal moment for the city and the state, and there is no doubt that The Post will play a crucial role in engaging and enlightening readers, who are starved of serious reporting and puckish wit.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new publication will be headquartered in Los Angeles and feature a robust staff of editors, reporters and photographers dedicated to covering news, entertainment, politics, culture, sports and business \u2014 all with a distinctly California perspective.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

While the paper is owned by the Murdoch family, it is known for its conservative leanings and support for the Trump administration.<\/p>\n

In the run-up to the 2020 presidential election, the paper published its famous Hunter Biden laptop story<\/a>, which was consequently censored by social media platforms in an effort to bolster Joe Biden\u2019s electoral chances.<\/p>\n

Last October, the paper endorsed Trump\u2019s candidacy over Kamala Harris, describing him as \u201cthe clear choice for a better future\u201d for America.<\/p>\n

Their endorsement read:<\/p>\n

In 2021, when Biden-Harris took over, the country took a hard left turn, with disastrous results.<\/p>\n

Over these nearly four years, inflation has walloped Americans, millions of migrants have crossed the border illegally, some cities have been taken over by gangs and crime, radical and ridiculous culture wars over DEI and gender identity have set neighbor against neighbor.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s not forget that overshadowing all of this, the world is on the precipice of widespread war.<\/p>\n

Today, Trump exhibits the same strength and vigor as he did in 2016, despite the unprecedented and disgraceful weaponization of the justice system against him, two assassination attempts and the all-too-familiar constant barrage of hysterical media attacks on him.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
