Former Secretary of State and climate change alarmist John Kerry\u2019s high-class neighborhood has reportedly been overrun with drug users, who ironically did more damage to the area than his supposed extreme weather events.<\/p>\n

Kerry\u2019s been preaching about climate-change consequences<\/a> for decades. Yet before any of the hypothetical chaos had a chance to affect him, liberal governance brought another plague to his doorstep: Addiction.<\/p>\n

Back in 2007, Kerry spoke<\/a> with the Council on Foreign Relations about how climate change is \u201ca national security issue.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former senator was introduced as having spoken out \u201con the topic of climate change for some 20 years now and has promoted hi-tech green solutions to stabilizing climate change and called attention to the economic risks of failing to address climate change. He\u2019s also [an] advocate for the adoption of innovative and strategic national energy policy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kerry\u2019s 2009 claim in a Huffington Post op-ed that the Arctic would be \u201cice free by the summer of 2013\u201d was examined by PolitiFact and judged<\/a> to be \u201cmostly false\u201d at the time.<\/p>\n

\u201cScientists project that the Arctic will be ice-free in the summer of 2013. Not in 2050, but four years from now,\u201d Kerry wrote. \u201cMake no mistake: catastrophic climate change represents a threat to human security, global stability, and \u2014 yes \u2014 even to American national security.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2017, when Kerry paid<\/a> $11.75 million for property on the water in Martha\u2019s Vineyard, he didn\u2019t seem too concerned about rising sea levels or climate catastrophes.<\/p>\n

Fast forward to today, and an actual crisis is playing out in Beacon Hill, where Kerry also owns<\/a> property, according<\/a> to Fox News.<\/p>\n

Local residents are complaining that city leaders aren\u2019t doing enough to contain open drug use in the streets, creating a chaotic situation.<\/p>\n

\u201cPrior to this year, I\u2019ve never seen the Boston Common, Cambridge Street or the Esplanade get this overrun with drug paraphernalia or folks in crisis,\u201d resident Katherine Kennedy said. \u201cAs a mother of two small children, this is very scary.\u201d<\/p>\n

Boston\u2019s Democratic mayor hasn\u2019t helped the situation, either.<\/p>\n

Back in 2022, Mayor Michelle Wu<\/a> launched a needle exchange program, which also included distributing free pipes for smoking crack or meth.<\/p>\n

Wu defended the program, claiming it prevents addicts from contracting diseases that could spread into the general populace, WHDH in Boston reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So, using liberal logic, we should spend billions \u2014 even trillions \u2014 of dollars on climate-change funding with no questions asked, despite its ever-changing benchmark. But when it comes to a drug epidemic, we should feed the fire by giving out free paraphernalia?<\/p>\n

Got it.<\/p>\n

Kerry\u2019s been telling the nation for years that a\u00a0climate crisis<\/a> could doom us any day now. He insisted it was likely to cause extreme weather events that would be devastating.<\/p>\n

Yet when his own neighborhood is slammed by addiction and illicit substances, he\u2019s nowhere to be found.<\/p>\n

This is the sort of backward thinking that\u2019s causing people to flee blue cities and states for regions of the country that actually apply common sense when governing.<\/p>\n
