In South Texas, a growing scandal involving indicted <\/span>Congressman Henry Cuellar<\/span><\/a> is exposing just how deep the rot runs in America\u2019s political institutions\u2014and how little the media or the Democrats care about protecting election integrity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cuellar, who represents Texas\u2019s 28th Congressional District, is under federal indictment for accepting over <\/span>$600,000<\/span><\/a> in foreign bribes from a Mexican bank and a state-run oil company in Azerbaijan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Prosecutors <\/span>allege<\/span><\/a> that Cuellar and his wife personally profited from years of backroom dealings, using their official positions to advance the interests of foreign entities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Three<\/span><\/a> of Cuellar\u2019s top aides are now cooperating with the Department of Justice.<\/span><\/p>\n

But despite being indicted and awaiting trial, <\/span>Cuellar<\/span><\/a> was not removed from the 2024 ballot. Instead, he ran for re-election and supposedly defeated Republican challenger <\/span>Jay Furman<\/span><\/a> in a district that Donald Trump won by <\/span>7 points<\/span><\/a>. Somehow, Cuellar won by <\/span>5 points<\/span><\/a>. A 12-point swing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Furman submitted more than <\/span>80 affidavits<\/span><\/a> from voters who claimed his name was missing from their ballots. The Texas Fourth Court of Appeals ordered a forensic ballot review and instructed County Judge Tano Tijerina to conduct it \u201cimmediately.\u201d Tijerina refused.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then <\/span>Judge Tijerina<\/span><\/a> announced his own campaign for Congress, directly entering the same race he had just helped suppress. He blocked a court-mandated ballot inspection\u2014then declared his intention to run for the seat himself.<\/span><\/p>\n

It gets worse.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Federal Election Commission filings, Cuellar\u2019s campaign received over <\/span>$110,000<\/span><\/a> from <\/span>ActBlue<\/span><\/a>, a Democrat-aligned fundraising platform now under multiple investigations for foreign interference, donor fraud, and illegal straw donations.<\/span><\/p>\n

In April 2025, the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees <\/span>published<\/span><\/a> a report showing that ActBlue weakened its fraud-prevention systems twice during the 2024 cycle.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Staff were <\/span>trained<\/span><\/a> to \u201clook for reasons to accept donations,\u201d even when they came from foreign IP addresses and used prepaid credit cards\u2014a red flag for money laundering and foreign interference.<\/span><\/p>\n

A total of <\/span>1,900<\/span><\/a> suspicious transactions were flagged by Congress between 2022 and 2024, including <\/span>237<\/span><\/a> that were traced directly to foreign networks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In response, President Trump issued a DOJ directive ordering an investigation into <\/span>ActBlue\u2019s<\/span><\/a> role in enabling overseas donors to influence U.S. elections.<\/span><\/p>\n

ActBlue\u2019s legal team denies the allegations, but the facts speak for themselves: <\/span>multiple<\/span><\/a> executives have resigned, CVV codes were not required for donations until August 2024, and <\/span>several donations<\/span><\/a> were traced to countries like Brazil, India, and Saudi Arabia. In one case, two elderly residents of Connecticut discovered that hundreds of contributions were made in their names without their knowledge.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Gateway Pundit was the <\/span>only major outlet<\/span><\/a> to expose the election fraud scandal in Laredo, based on evidence and voter affidavits.<\/span><\/p>\n

Judge Tijerina\u2019s refusal to comply with a lawful court order\u2014and his subsequent attempt to run for the same congressional seat\u2014is a violation of basic ethics.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Cuellar\u2019s acceptance of money from an organization under DOJ investigation, along with his own foreign bribery charges, is a betrayal of the public trust.<\/span><\/p>\n

If elections can be rigged, blocked, and bought without consequence, the republic will not survive.<\/span><\/p>\n
