Cobain was the lead singer of \u201cNirvana,\u201d a band that was enormously popular in the early 1990\u2019s with hits like \u201cSmells like Teen Spirit\u201d and \u201cDrain You,\u201d from their 1991 album, \u201cNevermind.\u201d Questions at the time about Cobain\u2019s suicide, and various conspiracy theories about his death, have persisted ever since.<\/p>\n<p>Inconsistencies related to the death and investigation include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cobain\u2019s death was ruled a suicide the day Kurt\u2019s body was found, with zero toxicology results, zero fingerprint results, and not one person was interrogated.<\/li>\n<li>The coroner, whom had practically no experience, tried to hide the fact that Kurt\u2019s shotgun blast allegedly occurred post-mortem.<\/li>\n<li>1.52 mg\/l of heroin was found in Cobain\u2019s system, which is approximately 5 times the lethal dose for a habitual heroin user.<\/li>\n<li>Zero identifiable fingerprints were found on the shotgun barrel, the stock or the trigger. Zero identifiable fingerprints were found on the gun case and red pen.<\/li>\n<li>Two witnesses see Kurt\u2019s body deceased, in the greenhouse, on April 3rd, two days before the coroner\u2019s estimate, and<br \/>\n5 days before Kurt\u2019s body was eventually found.<\/li>\n<li>Zero interviews and interrogations were performed by Seattle Police, even though 9 people were confirmed to have been with Kurt at the house just hours before his death.<\/li>\n<li>Multiple handwriting experts opined that Kurt Cobain did not write the last four lines of the \u2018suicide letter\u2019, and only those four lines say or hint at anything considered to be \u2018suicidal\u2019 in nature.<\/li>\n<li>Separate receipts for the gun and shells appear to have been placed on his person and next to him.<\/li>\n<li>One witness from the house was repeatedly threatened by the killers years after the event.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some believe that there were two or three murderers, who were witnessed by at least two people who were at the home the night Cobain died and witnessed the murder in the act.<\/p>\n<div class=\"tgp-post-inline-1\">\n<div class=\"adcovery-postinline-01\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Now, Cobain\u2019s widow, Courtney Love, and Love\u2019s daughter with Cobain, Frances Bean Cobain, are threatening journalists who continue to investigate the facts surrounding Kurt Cobain\u2019s death. The representatives of the Cobain estate are threatening to enforce the \u201crights of publicity\u201d around the famed singer, in order to shut down the production of any articles, videos, and podcasts that might challenge the mainstream view about Cobain\u2019s death.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first attempt. On November 25, 2024, the Cobain estate previously issued a cease and desist, which was ignored. The latest escalation directly warns against what the attorneys describe as \u201cdespicable violations\u201d of rights connected to Kurt Cobain.<\/p>\n<p>Previous whistleblowers and alleged eyewitnesses have come forward in the last year. One journalist has said that Cobain \u201cwas killed for his royalties.\u201d Another alleged eyewitness who was at the Cobain estate the night of the death, Josef Burns, came forward a year ago in an interview to allege that Cobain was murdered.<\/p>\n<p>Exclusively shared with the Gateway Pundit, here is a copy of the cease-and-desist letter from the Los Angeles law firm <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ziffrenlaw.com\/\">Ziffren Brittenham<\/a> sent to a select group of journalists working on the story:<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1443062\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/screenshot-2025-08-25-at-4.13.57pm.png?resize=456%2C814&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"456\" height=\"814\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A forthcoming book finishing within the next few weeks that is threatening to upend the 30 year narrative surrounding Cobain\u2019s death.<\/p>\n<p>Sources insist that nine people were present the night Kurt Cobain died, several of whom have personal knowledge that Cobain did not commit suicide, and claim that the suicide was staged after the fact. Corroborating witness statements, interviews, and recordings across multiple platforms document what really happened.<\/p>\n<p>The list of those directly tied to that night includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jessica Hopper<\/li>\n<li>Michael \u201cCali\u201d DeWitt<\/li>\n<li>Rene Navarrette<\/li>\n<li>Dylan Carlson<\/li>\n<li>Daniel Clint Rich<\/li>\n<li>Josef Burns<\/li>\n<li>Bonnie Dillard<\/li>\n<li>Jennifer Adamson (1970-2000)<\/li>\n<li>Mark Lanegan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Journalists and investigators maintain that these names are not speculation but are backed by recorded testimony and corroborating evidence. None of these individuals were questioned by police after Cobain\u2019s 1994 death.<\/p>\n<p>Cobain\u2019s body was found at 171 Lake Washington Blvd. E., Seattle, Washington 98112. The home was torn down later that year, and sold in 1997.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators say that the Seattle Times, local Seattle outlets KING and KIRO, as well as NBC are actively blocking the story, despite having been given the details.
