Warmonger John Bolton trashed President Trump\u2019s Russia-Ukraine strategy in an op-ed for the Washington Examiner<\/a> just days after the FBI raid.<\/p>\n

Bolton said President Trump\u2019s attempt to broker a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine is doomed.<\/p>\n

The FBI raided <\/a>the home of Trump\u2019s former National Security Advisor, John Bolton, early Friday morning.<\/p>\n

FBI agents were sent to Bolton\u2019s home because he allegedly sent \u201chighly sensitive\u201d classified materials to family members from a private, unsecured email server while he was working at the White House during the first Trump Administration.<\/p>\n

\u201cInvestigators reopened a dormant probe into Bolton\u2019s alleged use of a private email to send classified national security documents to his wife and daughter from his work desk before his dismissal by Trump in September 2019, according to a senior US official,\u201d The New York Post reported.<\/p>\n

The investigation into John Bolton began in 2020 when he used classified information to write his book titled, \u201cThe Room Where It Happened.\u201d<\/p>\n

It was later reported <\/a>by The New York Times that John Bolton is under investigation for violating the Espionage Act.<\/p>\n

John Bolton has not been arrested or charged with any crimes (yet).<\/p>\n

\u201cPresident Donald Trump\u2019s Ukraine policy is no more coherent today than it was last Friday when his administration executed search warrants against my home and office. Collapsing in confusion, haste, and the absence of any discernible meeting of the minds among Ukraine, Russia, several European countries, and America, Trump\u2019s negotiations may be in their last throes, along with his Nobel Peace Prize campaign,\u201d John Bolton wrote in an op-ed titled, \u201cTrump\u2019s Utterly Incoherent Ukraine Strategy.\u201d <\/p>\n

Bolton said Trump has repeatedly made several significant mistakes in his quest to broker a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine.<\/p>\n

\u201cTrump\u2019s furious pace trying to move an extraordinarily complex conflict to resolution over the past two weeks was one of several significant mistakes. It inevitably made reaching an agreement on a ceasefire, let alone a full-scale peace agreement, more difficult. U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff met with Putin in Moscow on Aug. 8 and immediately returned to Washington to inform Trump, among other things, that Putin wished to meet with him. Two days later, Trump announced the requested summit (soon thereafter revealed to be held in Alaska) would occur one week later, on Aug. 15. Trump noted that he wished the meeting could have been held even sooner, but it is almost surely unprecedented in modern history that a summit between leaders of two major powers on such a contentious issue has been arranged so expeditiously,\u201d Bolton wrote. <\/p>\n
