During a recent episode of the Politics War Room podcast, longtime Democrat strategist James Carville went off on his party for pushing woke ideas during the DNC summer meeting.<\/p>\n

Just a week after being told by a liberal think tank to avoid using certain woke words and phrases,<\/a> Democrats opened their DNC summer meeting with a land acknowledgement,<\/a> claiming that Minneapolis is built on stolen land.<\/p>\n

In his rant, Carville reminds Democrats that this is not the role of the DNC and that they are basically committing political suicide by continuing to do this.<\/p>\n

Democratic strategist James Carville on \u201cPolitics War Room\u201d Thursday expressed outrage at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) for beginning its summer meeting with a land acknowledgement\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy are you bringing this up in an election!? \u2026 This is an election and the DNC is not the place to discuss this! Understand this: the DNC does not exist to right wrongs,\u201d Carville said. \u201cIt doesn\u2019t exist to acknowledge the more unpleasant parts of history. It doesn\u2019t exist to make people feel good. It exists\u2014 get this through your head \u2014 to win elections! Now, do you think that is going to help us win elections \u2026 by arguing about land theft from the Dakotas? We\u2019re not!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease stop this in the name of a just, merciful God! Don\u2019t you see what\u2019s happening? Don\u2019t you see where this has brought us to? For God\u2019s sakes, lady!\u201d he added. \u201cAnd what is [DNC Chairman] Ken Martin doing there? You don\u2019t have but one job, Ken \u2014 it\u2019s to win! \u2026 You\u2019re supposed to try to win fucking elections! Before we leave this, in case you\u2019re wondering, Fox was over this like stink on shit. They were all over it, as you could well imagine.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
