The US Southern Command released today (17) a video portraying US troops training amphibious landings in Puerto Rico, as the Naval and Aerial siege to Venezuela gains even more momentum.<\/p>\n

The U.S. deployment is the largest in Latin America in 26 years, and responds to growing concern over drug trafficking and regional instability.<\/p>\n

Almost 300,000 people died of fentanyl-related causes in the US in the last 4 years.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Caribbean has now become a powder keg, with both the Trump Administration and the Venezuelan Bolivarian socialists showing their military readiness.<\/p>\n

Newsweek<\/a> reported:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe U.S. force in the Caribbean now includes: F-35B fighter jets, V-22 Ospreys, MQ-9 Reaper drones, P-8 Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft, and stationed personnel at Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico.<\/em><\/p>\n

Naval assets comprise the destroyers USS Gravely, USS Jason Dunham, USS Sampson, the cruiser USS Lake Erie, the littoral combat ship USS Minneapolis-Saint Paul, the amphibious assault ships USS Iwo Jima, USS San Antonio, USS Fort Lauderdale, and the fast-attack submarine USS Newport News.<\/em><\/p>\n

These ships carry thousands of U.S. Marines and form a strategic presence to deter criminal operations and signal U.S. power in the region.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

And starting in early September, the siege of Venezuela has yielded \u2018kinetic\u2019 attacks against alleged drug boats.<\/p>\n
