For days, now, France is again burning with widespread chaos caused by protesters \u2013 an almost weekly occurrence during Macron\u2019s terms \u2013 but the former Rothschild banker is in the UK talking to \u2018Face the Nation\u2019, and complaining about the US.<\/p>\n

CBS News<\/a> reported:<\/p>\n

\u201cFrench President Emmanuel Macron said it was out of line for Charles Kushner, the U.S. ambassador to France and the father of President Trump\u2019s son-in-law Jared Kushner, to publicly accuse him of taking insufficient action to combat antisemitism, and for him to link France\u2019s foreign policy positions to domestic incidents of violence against Jews in France. <\/em><\/p>\n

In a letter he published in the Wall Street Journal to Macron in August, Kushner wrote that he had \u2018deep concern over the dramatic rise of antisemitism in France and the lack of sufficient action by your government to confront it\u2019. <\/em><\/p>\n

\u2018Public statements haranguing Israel and gestures toward recognition of a Palestinian state embolden extremists, fuel violence, and endanger Jewish life in France\u2019, he wrote, urging Macron to \u2018enforce hate-crime laws without exception; ensure the safety of Jewish schools, synagogues and businesses, prosecute offenders to the fullest extent; and abandon steps that give legitimacy to Hamas and its allies\u2019.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n

Macron argued that a one of his ambassadors would never be allowed to such public remarks about another country \u2018because it would risk diplomacy with those nations\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2019So, either you are a person who wants to express freely\u2019, Macron said. \u2018If you are a diplomat, you have to follow the rule of diplomacy. \u2026 The [American] taxpayer money is not properly used to finance this kind of statement\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n

France\u2019s foreign ministry summoned the ambassador last month in a formal rebuke. The French ministry said Kushner\u2019s claims \u2018run counter to international law\u2019, citing the \u2018obligation not to interfere in the internal affairs of states in the 1961 Vienna Convention of Diplomatic Relations\u2019.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
