President Trump on Sunday responded to Nicolas Maduro\u2019s Vice President and newly sworn-in interim leader, Delcy Rodr\u00edguez\u2019s accusation that he kidnapped the ousted tyrant Nicolas Maduro.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Maduro was captured in the dead of night with no US forces being killed on Saturday morning, and he was indicted in the Southern District of New York on charges of Narco-Terrorism Conspiracy, Cocaine Importation Conspiracy, Possession of Machine Guns and Destructive Devices, and Conspiracy to Possess Machineguns and Destructive Devices against the United States, the Gateway Pundit\u00a0reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Following the operation, Trump posted the following video of the strikes, which targeted\u00a0at least four<\/a> sites around Caracas, Venezuela. No US troops were killed in the operation.<\/p>\n

Asked by a reporter to respond to the accusation of \u201ckidnapping\u201d Maduro, Trump hilariously replied, \u201cSo?\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump:<\/strong> Well, I don\u2019t think it was pushback. I think that you hear a different person than I hear.<\/p>\n

Trump:<\/strong> We talked to them, yeah.<\/p>\n

Reporter:<\/strong> Because she called it kidnapping of Maduro.<\/p>\n

Trump:<\/strong> So? That\u2019s all right. That\u2019s not a bad term.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Following Maduro\u2019s capture, Trump seized control of Venezuela, and Trump told reporters<\/a> hours after Maduro\u2019s capture on Saturday that he is \u201cgoing to run the country right,\u201d adding that it will be run \u201cvery judiciously, very fairly.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump also told reporters<\/a> on Air Force One on Sunday ,\u201cDon\u2019t ask me who\u2019s in charge, because I\u2019ll give you an answer, and it\u2019ll be very controversial.\u201d He then declared, \u201cWe\u2019re in charge,\u201d later adding<\/a> that oil companies are going to invest \u201ca lot\u201d of money and fix Venezuela\u2019s infrastructure.<\/p>\n

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump said on Saturday that the Administration is in communication with Rodrigue, \u201cand she\u2019s essentially willing to do what we think is necessary to make Venezuela great again.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, she flipped almost immediately in a Saturday address, \u201cillegal and illegitimate kidnapping\u201d and a \u201cbarbaric\u201d act.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are determined to be free,\u201d Rodr\u00edguez declared. \u201cWhat is being done to Venezuela is a barbarity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump responded, warning that \u201cShe\u2019ll pay a very big price\u2014probably bigger than Maduro\u2014if she doesn\u2019t do what\u2019s right,\u201d<\/p>\n
