Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy during a recent appearance on CBS News.

RINO Senator Bill Cassidy is demanding an investigation into the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency.

In a statement posted on the X platform on Saturday, Cassidy described the ongoing immigration crackdown in Minnesota as “incredibly disturbing.”

“The events in Minneapolis are incredibly disturbing,” he wrote. “The credibility of ICE and DHS are at stake.”

Cassidy added, “There must be a full joint federal and state investigation. We can trust the American people with the truth.”

The events in Minneapolis are incredibly disturbing. The credibility of ICE and DHS are at stake. There must be a full joint federal and state investigation. We can trust the American people with the truth.

— U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (@SenBillCassidy) January 25, 2026

Cassidy’s comments came after the death of 37-year-old Alex Jeffrey Pretti, who was killed after trying to wrestle ICE agents while armed with a loaded firearm.

Legacy media will never show you this video of Alex Pretti reaching for his loaded handgun before an ICE agent shot him in self defense!

Pass it on!

As RINO Cassidy should be well aware, ICE officers have descended on Minnesota in order to fulfil their duty to carry out President Trump’s promise of mass deportations of those living in the U.S. illegally.

His unhelpful comments may stem from bitterness over Trump’s recent endorsement of his primary challenger, Congresswoman Julia Letlow.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump described Letlow as a “great star” who would support his political agenda:

Highly Respected America First Congresswoman, Julia Letlow, of the wonderful State of Louisiana, is a Great Star, has been from the very beginning, and only gets better! I am hearing that Julia is considering launching her Campaign for the United States Senate in Louisiana, a place I love and WON BIG, six times, including Primaries, in 2016, 2020, and 2024!

I know Julia well, have seen her tested at the highest and most difficult levels, and she is a TOTAL WINNER! A Proud Mother of two children, Julia is a wonderful person, has ALWAYS delivered for Louisiana, and would continue doing so in the United States Senate.

As your next Senator, Julia will work tirelessly to Grow our Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Support our Amazing Farmers and Fishermen, Champion Louisiana Oil & Gas, Unleash American Energy DOMINANCE, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Keep our Border SECURE, Stop Migrant Crime, Ensure LAW AND ORDER, Strengthen our Military/Veterans, and Protect our always under siege Second Amendment.

Should she decide to enter this Race, Julia Letlow has my Complete and Total Endorsement. RUN, JULIA, RUN!!! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP
